The room was fairly clean and tidy, but here's the major downside: I didn't get any sleep for two nights straight. The reason? The light outside my door stayed on constantly, and there was no switch in the room to turn it off. For someone like me who needs complete darkness to sleep, this was absolutely terrible. Really disappointed.

Overall the hotel is easy to find, opposite the namdaemun market, accessible to myeongdong just beside.
Airport limousine is near the hotel which is very convenient.
The balcony is nice, the floor can be heated as well. The door separating bed from living room helps in regulating the temperature when sleeping, less temperature variation.

Decent location, huge room. Who can resist a washing machine, LG styler and a balcony. Water is alittle sensitive to the touch.

This hotel is amazing, such a great value for the price! I didn't have high hopes initially because the reviews were just okay, but after checking in, I was pleasantly surprised. The hygiene was good, facilities were excellent, and the room was spacious with underfloor heating and a balcony. Even though it's on a busy street, the double-glazed windows kept it perfectly quiet. But the absolute best part was the incredible view from my room – it faces directly towards Sungnyemun, Korea's national treasure!

The hotel was excellent, and its features were remarkable. The location was also very convenient. However, I noticed that the staff's demeanor varied, with some being quite friendly while others were not. I hope that service standards will be consistently maintained and improved in the future.

Weight your own consideration before you booked this!
Pro:
1. Location is okish- close to Airport Bus BUT check out the cons
2. Most of the receptionists and cleaners are very kind and warm! With the exception of the heavily makeup lady on 27th Dec who’s terribly rude
Cons
1. Location - During winter, 15-20mins to Myeongdong commercial center or 8mins walk across dark alley to major subway (8mins walk from City Hall) is quite painful
There’s nothing to see or worth eating in Namdaemun Market
2. Not sound proof at all. Watch the video and you can hear the vacuum sounds every morning from the room
I didn’t have to set any alarm because the traveller and vacuum woke me up everyday
3. No security at all! Anyone can go up to any floor witht the lift and and staircase
4. No good amenities in room. Theres a big fridge but there’s no plate no microwave. There’s a small microwave at -1 floor but there’s no plate.
For the price I paid for (HKD1k per night) I think there are better places to go
5. It’s a rip off to charge 10k per 4 hours instead of every hour. Other hotel either provide for free or charge hourly rate

Let's start with the positives:
- Great location 🆗
- Room has a large fridge 🆗
- Comes with a garment care system 🆗
- The suite room is quite spacious 🆗
Now for the downsides, which are most of them:
- There's a chance your room faces the South Gate directly, with a busy road downstairs, making it noisy and bright.
- The balcony runs across the entire room, but only the sleeping area has curtains. The rest is frosted glass, so it's bright from neon signs at night and the sun in the morning. Impossible to get any sleep.
- And the bed, whatever you do, don't book a king-sized one. I don't know what material it's made of, but if one person moves, the whole thing sways. It felt like I was seasick. Staying for 3 days was agony.

The location is excellent. Namsan Market is right across the street, Lotte Department Store and Duty-Free Shop are just a block to the left, and Shinsegae Department Store and Duty-Free Shop are diagonally across the street. Myeongdong shopping street is located between the two department stores. Gyeongbokgung Palace is within 3 km, and N Seoul Tower is also very close. For dining, just turn left and then left again from the hotel exit, and you'll find a street with local restaurants.
However, the service is very basic. Disposable items in Korea are charged separately, and the toilet and shower are combined in one space. The wardrobe is inside a garment care machine, and detergent for the drum washing machine needs to be purchased extra. Luggage storage is in lockers in the basement, costing 10,000 Korean Won for over 4 hours with a progressive rate.
There's no breakfast, and although there's a Chinese restaurant next door offering a 13,800 won set meal, no one seems to eat there. Guests are diverse, with a majority being Chinese. Rooms facing the street are relatively quiet, but the single beds are a bit small.
Communication with the front desk in English was seamless.

The hotel is very clean and has excellent facilities. They even provide a large refrigerator, washing machine, and a steamer in the room. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We booked a room for three people, and it felt a bit cramped when trying to open three large suitcases but its not a bigdeal for us. There are Convenient store and coffee shop near the hotel.
What’s a bit tricky is the access to the hotel. They mentioned in hotel info that the nearest subway station is Hyohyeon Station(approx 300m), but it’s actually located across the street from the hotel. To cross, you have to walk quite far to an underground passage. you can’t just cross directly in front of the hotel. The nearest station that’s easier to access without crossing far is City Hall Station exit 7, which is about 6-8 minutes walking distances that quiet painfull in a cold weather.
Its more convenient if you’re traveling by bus, as the bus stop just right in front of the hotel. On our last day, my friend discovered a shortcut to cross via the Namdaemun Underground Shopping Center.
Overall, it was a great stay.

Centrally located within walking distance to City Hall and Hoehyeon stations, Namdaemun market and Myeondong shopping streets.
Our stay in this hotel was a pleasant one. Highly recommended.

Walking distance from Myondong. Across is the Namdaemun market, restaurants. It is a quiet area but not remote, as there were pharmacies, restaurants, the market surrounding the hotel. Even a big mall with LV, Cartier, Hermes within 5 minutes walking.
The room was decent, loved the washing machine and the LG styler in it. Bathroom was too small, when you shower the toilet will get wet. Just turn on the machine and then the bathroom will get dry. So no big problem. Price wise, the location and the room is good. Would go back again.

Seriously, do NOT stay at this hotel. It will absolutely ruin your vacation mood. Setting aside whether the hotel environment is good or bad, the service is nonexistent. I was fuming the day I arrived. The front desk was manned by a middle-aged man who, I swear, discriminated against Chinese people. I asked him for a pillow, and he actually told me I could only get one the next day when the rooms were cleaned, claiming he was the only one on duty and everyone else had gone home. This was around 3 PM! I couldn't even imagine how he came up with such an absurd excuse. I didn't want to let it spoil my first day, so I let it go. What really set me off was one night, starting at midnight, the fire alarm went off three times in a row! It kept blaring in the hallway and rooms. They told us it was due to a faulty alarm. We were disturbed until past 3 AM – how were we supposed to sleep that night?! The next day, when we confronted them, they actually said it was because other guests took showers and created too much steam, which triggered the alarm. Does anyone honestly believe that? They have faulty facilities and are blaming the guests for taking a shower with too much steam. Just don't stay here; it's not worth getting upset on your trip. And the hotel itself is terrible – the bed felt like sleeping on springs, so hard. There's no service whatsoever. Not a single thing worth praising.
