Honestly this is a good stay! I ordered the queen size bed/room and as a solo traveller being cautious of unpacking carefully and neatly it’s definitely sizeable enough. Everybody in general is very quiet (as per the rule of the accommodation), and in general it is cleanly. The bathrooms almost always were stocked up, and the amenities such as hairdryers provided. I would however like to provide future travellers with some things I noticed. I purposely booked the female only accommodation for solo travelling safety and comfortability reasons, however the staff who clean the beds in the morning/maintenance is a man. This is not a big problem, but due to the lack of space this honestly can become a slight privacy issue depending how private you are. For example, the bedroom blind acting as a door is not fully covering everything, so while you are relaxing in pajamas/whatever you wear- it is possible to be seen. Secondly, when exiting the shower there were multiple instances where this man was having to do some routine maintenance/cleaning in the shower area (as well as contraction crew at one point to fix a broken shower). If you aren’t aware of this (like I was), it can be quite a surprise, and luckily I had gotten dressed into clothing whilst in the shower cubicle before exiting or I would’ve been exposed. For some travellers who don’t know and are comfortable to be more nakedly visible around other woman, this could be an issue as you don’t expect a man to be there. I would like to say that these men are very respectful and never tried to be invasive, they are simple doing their job, but I believe people booking an all female dormitory should be made aware of men being in the space. Secondly, I did notice throughout my stay that there were small maintenance issues- such as showers not working properly or the water fluctuating between hot and cold every so often (my showers were often lukewarm or cold at different points), or the shower handle itself not being stable and allowing for the shower head to be propped up but rather needing to be held manually. These are small issues, but definitely were noticeable throughout the stay. Lastly, there are towels provided, but only small towels slightly bigger than a face towel (which is common in Korea, but travellers should note this and bring/buy a bigger towel if that is your preference). If you slept past the clean up time (which I believe is around 8-9am), your towel will not be replaced, you can head upstairs to the reception area to request a new one but I just wanted to make it clear that there was no easy access to clean towels or materials that may be needed which could at times make things a bit difficult. Despite all this, it really is a good option and extremely close to very popular streets with amazing options for tourists. I just felt I had encountered some things that future travellers would find very helpful to know. Overall I enjoyed my stay and everyone was very kind, I just believe there is room for improvement/ more clarity! 🙂
