ION hotel is a very good and affordable choice in Seoul! It's next to the subway, it can be reached fast from Seoul station. The room was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful.
The only disadvantage is the small bathroom because there is no shower area and it can be a bit inconvenient. But still it's ok. I would definitely choose it again!

The room size is quite small, but still OK for couples with my 5 yr old daughter in a queen bed. Bed is comfortable and room is clean. Just the toliet is super small and shower head just above the sink. If u are big size, can be very difficult to move around in toliet. But we are still OK to accept it. The front desk staff very helpful and help me hire a taxi and communicate where is my destination to the driver. The location is very convenient as close to metro and many buses nearby. Also got many restaurants and a fruit store nearby which selling cheap and fresh fruit.

Good location, 1min walking to exit 3 of dongdaemun line1, which is just stairs.If need to take escalator, can just use another exit which is just a few minutes walking from the hotel.
15mins walking to Gwangjang market, and a lot of restaurants and shops on the way.
During my stay in the hotel, I went back to the hotel at 12am and even after 1am, no problem for me at all cuz it is just beside the main road and a 10meter alley to the hotel.
Room is clean, water pressure is fine for me as well cuz I am using the rainbath. No separation of bathroom and toilet, but the water won't splash into the room if the door is closed properly. Hot water and microwave available at floor one. A good hotel to stay if you are solo traveller.
Will revisit if I am back to Dongdaemun to stay.

This hotel was perfect for me as a solo traveler. It might not be well suited for larger groups or families but it was just right for me, and I truly miss staying here. The staff could speak English and greeted me every time I came in, and at 4 am when I checked out, there was even a self-checkout station for me to insert the key. The rules were straight-forward, and they provided a lot of amenities such as skincare and free water, coffee, and tea. Not to mention, the TV was huge and the view was pretty nice. The shampoo and body wash smelled really good, haha. I miss it there already..

Small but reasonable with the price! The shower is not separated from the toilet. The entrance is in an alley, but is easy to find with the map.

The hotel is well located, just a minute walk to 2 subway station and also the airport bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is just opened which make all the furnitures are all brand new. The concept is similar like japanese hotel which all basic necessities are well taken care. No need to worried about food as there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, 24 hours mart n also groceries stores nearby.

Not bad location, close to the underground. Clean and comfortable room. Very pleasant gift before staying - Korean cosmetics. But as for me, the smell in the hotel wasn’t good.
