villiv Inn-The City Namsan

Location was strategic, one of the subway station entrance is accessible from the hotel. There was a convenient store right on the ground floor. We travelled from airport, we took bus which stopped nearby. It was manageable even with big luggage. Room with necessary kitchen amenities -microwave, fridge, pots/pan, knife, cutting board which allowed simple food preparation. There was a washing m/c with drying functionality that allowed us to do some laundry and don't need to bring extra clothes and could keep the luggage space for shopping items. However, since the room is not big, the noise from the washing machine may impact your sleep. Hence do it while you are away or still awake. Room is clean and with a nice view where N tower is visible from the room. Breakfast was simple but they changed menu daily. It was a combination of Korean and continental cuisine. I stayed there for 3 nights, there were no repeat of the dishes and all those tasted good. Unlike another chain hotel, have lots of choices but same dishes, even the banchan were the same daily.

I previously left a positive review, but I realized I did not include my friends’ feedback. During our 4-night stay, the towels were never replaced. We also tried contacting the hotel assistant through Trip, but we could not get any response. Since there was no reception desk available, there was no way for us to share our concerns during the stay. For future bookings, I hope the hotel can provide accurate housekeeping information on the booking platform. The listing mentioned that daily housekeeping was included, but this was not actually provided.

Location is great. Near to Myeongdong and easy to go around other places

The room was clean and spacious. It was very accessible to publis transportations. And very near to myeongdong.

Very convenient location, clean and their service is fast

The location is quite convenient, located at the entrance of metro station and in 10 minutes walking distance to Myeongdong. Full of local restaurants, coffee cafes and grocery stores around the hotel. I love the AI system of the hotel, which you can request anything, general inquiry and even check-in and out, very smart, convenient and don’t have to meet in person. The Luggage storage and toilet are provided. However, I found four problems here which I definitely won’t return to stay here. The first is elevator, too long for me to wait because there’re many residences on the same building using the same elevators. Second is bathroom and toilet are too small. Third is the room is very dusty all the time and forth is the green light of the ceiling air conditioner goes directly to your eyes while sleeping, which is very very annoying.
