ALL STAY Myeongdong

This Trip.com review was fantastic, primarily because of the incredibly convenient location. Being so close to Chungmuro and Euljiro 4-ga stations made getting around Seoul a breeze, and it was super easy to reach areas like Myeongdong and Dongdaemun. The room itself felt much more practical than a standard hotel room, equipped with amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and even a washing machine. I especially appreciated having convenience stores nearby for quick purchases. The self check-in was also a huge plus, making it easy to arrive even late at night. Overall, this accommodation offers excellent convenience, from its transportation links and nearby facilities to the in-room amenities. It seems perfect for both short trips to Seoul or longer stays. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the city.

The location was absolutely great, and the room was very clean, which I was really happy with. Chungmuro Station is close by, making it easy to get to Myeongdong, Jongno, and Dongdaemun. Plus, there were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I never felt inconvenienced. The room had not only a fridge and microwave but also a washing machine and dryer, making it perfect for a stay of several days. Compared to a typical hotel, there was more space and all the necessary facilities were well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The self check-in process was also well-guided and easy to follow. Overall, it was quiet and spotless, allowing me to relax and rest comfortably. If I ever come to Seoul again, I'd love to stay here again. 😊

My first day in Korea started off with a disaster. Upon self-check-in, I walked into a completely uncleaned room. The sheets and duvet were still stripped from the previous guest (Pic 1), there were used dishes in the sink (Pic 2), and the floor was covered in hair and absolutely filthy, not to mention a foul odor. What was even more frustrating was being unable to reach anyone in charge. There were no staff members even in the self-service luggage storage area. I eventually had to contact the booking platform for help, and it took about 1.5 hours of back and forth. Since there were no other rooms available that day, and the guesthouse refused to switch me, I suggested a cancellation or compensation. The owner's attitude was very unyielding, flatly stating, "You can choose not to stay, but I won't give you a refund." In the end, I received no compensation and had to wait for the cleaning staff to finish before I could finally check in. I really don't recommend this place. When traveling abroad, it's best to book a proper hotel. At least if something goes wrong, you can immediately find the front desk and won't feel so helpless. However, the platform was incredibly helpful this time! Even at 6 PM on a weekend, there was a Chinese-speaking online customer service agent who assisted me throughout the entire process. They really saved me! 🙏

The hot water stopped running in the middle of the night, and an alarm sound came from the boiler. I tried to contact the hotel, but didn't get an immediate reply. They finally got back to me around 10 AM the next day. Their subsequent response was simply to explain how to use it. There was no offer of a refund or any attempt to check the room directly. Also, an alarm went off in the hallway outside my room around 4 AM, and I had to evacuate down to the street. The hotel didn't follow up on that either, and I still don't know where the alarm came from. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The location, amenities, and facilities were all excellent. Just one minor point: since we had to separate our trash for disposal, it would have been even better if there were multiple trash cans in the room for sorting.

I stayed here alone. The location is great, right across from a convenience store. Check-in was super smooth since there's no need for a formal check-in process. I just used the room number sent to me via email on the day of arrival and went straight to my room. The entrance is shared with WICCOSTAY, so you just take the elevator up. The kitchenette, along with the full-sized fridge and freezer, was incredibly convenient, making it feel like I was living there. Unlike traditional hotels, there's no complimentary water, so I bought a 2-liter bottle from the convenience store across the street. I brought my own slippers, toothbrush, and pajamas as they weren't provided. However, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face wash, hand soap, toothpaste, and laundry detergent were all available. I can't comment on the quality of the toiletries as I used my own. The toilet is flushable, and there were three spare rolls of toilet paper. There are no sanitary bags, so guests who need them might want to bring their own opaque bags. For my three-night stay, there were two large and five small towels in the bathroom from the start. The shower and toilet are separated by a door, so there's no worry about the floor getting wet. There was a slight drain-like odor, but it was tolerable. Disposing of trash is self-service but not difficult. New trash bags are located in the shoe cabinet. Outlets were conveniently located in the kitchen, next to the bed, and by the TV, so I didn't have any issues. However, I wished there was an outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer. I ended up using the kitchen outlet and the mirror there to dry my hair. Overall, the room felt very clean and well-maintained. I appreciated not having daily housekeeping, as it meant I could stay in the room at any time without interruption. The price was also very reasonable, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to Myeongdong Street. There's a fantastic cafe on the ground floor where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, with both European and Asian options – it's always packed! The room is small, but that's normal for Asia, and it has everything you need, including a washing machine with a built-in dryer and all the cooking utensils. Everything is neat and clean. The hotel representative was quick to respond and resolved any issues instantly. All in all, my experience was amazing; everyone around was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!
