Namsan Dream City

The apartment is just as advertised and really beautiful. It's on the 15th floor (number 1507) with a breathtaking view of Namsan N Tower. It's very quiet and comfortable; everything about the apartment itself is top-notch. It even has a washing machine and a dishwasher. I wish I'd known that beforehand, my luggage would have been lighter! Annoyingly, there weren't even 4 plates in the cupboards, so we had to buy paper plates. No bottle opener either, but we left the one we bought, so now there'll be one in the apartment 😉. The rooftop is exceptional. However, there's no physical reception; they replied to my messages remotely within an hour. But this meant the lockers are located on level -2, and you have to take a specific elevator behind the main ones to get there. It took a while to figure it out on my own, and then to communicate with the hotel, who then informed me I needed to pay 33,000 won to get a code. Everything was so complicated that by the time I sorted it all out, there were only 30 minutes left until check-in, so we just waited until it was time to get into the apartment. No towel changes in 15 days. No broom and no cleaning service for 15 days. Zero service.

A great experience! It was peaceful, clean, and offered excellent value for money 😊. The only minor issue was that the futon mattress was a bit too thin, causing a bit of backache during sleep. Hopefully, this can be improved. Everything else was perfect 💯👍👍👍👍

The location isn't far from other MRT stations, and there's an airport bus nearby. The bathroom's waterproofing is excellent; it effectively separates the shower steam from the sink and toilet area. However, on our last day, we found there was no water, and the bidet function didn't seem to work. They provide two trash bags and a food waste bag, which was actually enough for our three-day stay. Plus, you can easily separate recyclables.

We stayed for 3 days in early April, three unforgettable days during the cherry blossom season 😍 The hotel is very convenient, modern, and has contactless check-in 🙌🏼

The location is pretty good. While it's not directly at a subway exit, it's not a long walk, and you can even walk to Gwangjang Market, which is a big plus! 👍 There's an airport bus stop nearby, just a 2-3 minute walk away. The room had a strong smell from the decor, which only improved a bit after opening the window all day. No luggage storage was quite inconvenient. Also, having to dispose of our own trash felt a bit unfriendly for non-locals. They only provided 2 trash bags, and if you needed more, you had to buy a whole pack from a convenience store, which is way too many for a traveler to use! I didn't get to use the breakfast at all, as my stay was entirely over the weekend. The washing machine in the room didn't have detergent; you need to bring your own!
