Harujae Myeongdong

The service was great, and any issues were resolved quickly. The self-check-in process was very convenient. However, you do have to climb stairs, and carrying luggage up three flights can be a bit challenging, especially for women.

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days! It was close to the station, and check-in was easy with Japanese support, which was great. We stayed in a queen bed room with two people, but there wasn't enough space to open our suitcases, so it felt a bit cramped. However, they provided a universal adapter, which was a huge help. The cleaning service was also excellent. Thank you!

Great location, everything's within walking distance and there's a convenience store nearby. It's a shame though, we booked a quadruple room and the photos made it look spacious with a living room and a bedroom, but we couldn't even fully open four 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom sink was tiny, a mini-sized one, and it even leaked out to the doorway. The underfloor heating was hit or miss, and the water heater kept fluctuating between hot and cold. 😅

We stayed in the 8-person room on the 4th floor. It was a really luxurious space with two rooms just like in the photos, plus a large room with a sofa and dining table, and two bathrooms. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The underfloor heating was also a nice touch. On the other hand, adjusting the shower temperature was a bit tricky.

The hotel room was okay, but there were no slippers provided. The soundproofing in the room was really bad. Also, this place is more like a tiny guesthouse with just a few rooms, no front desk, and no other services. Looking at the photos of both the hotel and its surroundings, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The only good thing is its convenient location, as it's easy to get to Myeongdong and the subway station, but there are definitely more convenient hotels out there.

Haru's House is kept very clean, and the decor is simple yet elegant. It's close to the subway station, with many great restaurants nearby. The room has good natural light, and for a guesthouse, the soundproofing is decent. I highly recommend it for solo travelers or couples; it's a cozy little nest that makes for a very comfortable stay.

The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out, which was super convenient for grabbing the room key. Inside the room, there's a mini-fridge, a vanity table, and a built-in hairdryer. The bathroom has disposable toiletries, but the sink is quite narrow and splashes easily. The room itself is a bit small, but you can fit two 24-inch front-opening suitcases, so that gives you an idea of the floor space. The bathroom is quite spacious. However, the bedding tends to shed a lot of lint, and there were some hairs on the floor that hadn't been swept up, which was a bit off-putting. Otherwise, everything else was sufficient. The location is really convenient; it's just a ten-minute walk to Myeongdong, and there are plenty of food options nearby. Pretty good!

Close to the Myeongdong shopping area. In winter, it's a bit further from the center, but there are plenty of snack options downstairs, which is very convenient. The service was good, and they even changed the sheets and duvet covers.
