Seoul Garden Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to two different metro stations, and there are plenty of 7-Eleven stores and restaurants nearby. The service and cleanliness are also good. The only downsides are the poor soundproofing and the toilet being a bit small; you hit the front when you sit on it, which is quite awkward.

The location is excellent, with a direct airport shuttle bus. The facilities are a bit old and the cleanliness is just average; I found hairs on the pillow. The soundproofing is very poor, and our room was assigned directly across from the linen closet, which was quite noisy. Other than that, everything else was okay.

This hotel boasts an excellent location in Mapo-gu, north of the river. The airport bus from Incheon stops right outside, and both Gongdeok Station and Mapo Station are just a 10-minute walk away. There's an Emart (a Korean supermarket chain) right outside the subway station, plus plenty of 7-Eleven, Nice to CU convenience stores, and cafes nearby. A 5-minute walk left from the hotel takes you to Mapo Bridge, and once you cross it, you're on Yeouido. It's also very close to the Hongdae area. The hotel room was quite spacious and very comfortable, and the service was excellent. They even have a female staff member who speaks Chinese. I had a very satisfying stay.

Traveling with kids means location, transport, and dining options, catering to both crowds and quiet spots, are all key considerations. First off, the location was perfect – the airport shuttle drops you right at the hotel, just across the street. We noticed fewer Chinese guests and more European and American visitors. Right opposite the hotel, there's Olive Young, McDonald's, and a fried chicken joint. To the left and right of the hotel entrance, you'll find a 7-Eleven on each side. The streets behind the hotel are packed with restaurants. Just about 200 meters to the left of the hotel entrance is Mapo Subway Station, which is only one stop from Yeouido Department Store – super convenient. If you head right from the hotel, you'll reach Gongdeok Subway Station, where you can find the popular Egg Drop sandwiches, which are a great value for breakfast. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, so it's a good idea to bring your own set. If you forget, there's a machine on the first floor where you can buy them. For your return journey, you can catch the airport shuttle to the airport right in front of the McDonald's opposite the hotel. You can buy tickets on-site by scanning a QR code or paying with cash. Highly recommend this hotel for families with children.

The terrace room was on a lower floor, but the water pressure was great, making for a really comfortable shower. However, the water pressure on the 11th floor was very low. If the sun was out, the terrace was incredibly pleasant. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of food options, a mall, and a supermarket nearby.

Whenever I visit Seoul, I usually stay in Mapo. The airport bus is super convenient and drops you right at the entrance. To get to Hongdae or Yeonnam, you can take a bus directly downstairs. The area has a great local vibe, and behind the hotel, there's a street that's like a food alley where you can find pretty much any kind of restaurant. Plus, there are CU, 7-Eleven, and GS25 convenience stores all around.

Great location! Line 5 is right around the corner if you turn left, and Line 9, which goes directly to the airport, is just a 5-minute walk to the right. There's also a bus stop right outside that goes to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Behind the hotel, there's a street full of restaurants, and across the road, there's a fried chicken place. Plus, there are two Olive Young stores nearby (the one across the street doesn't have snacks). Han River Park is just one subway stop away. The facilities are a bit old, but it's still a good place overall.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. The airport limousine bus takes you directly there, and it's just across the street from Mapo Station. Olive Young is also right across the street. The subway entrance is a 2-minute walk away, with the purple line going straight to Gimpo Airport. It's super convenient to get to Yeouido and Gangnam by subway, and taking the bus to Myeongdong is also very easy. There's a 7-Eleven right next door. The service is decent; the front desk staff speak good English, so communication was no problem. The hotel is a bit older, but still very clean. I especially liked the small garden that came with the room!
