L7 HONGDAE by LOTTE HOTELS

L7 Lotte Hongdae is an older hotel, but its biggest advantage is its excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for both transportation and shopping. Although we booked a family room for three, it was a bit small, just about manageable. However, the original design of the hotel is quite stylish, from the lobby and lounge areas to the rooftop pool that combines a bar and an Italian restaurant – it's really interesting! Breakfast wasn't initially included, but the hotel offered a discount of 18,000 won per person on the day we checked in, so we bought it for two days. I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! While there weren't many options, everything from salads to a DIY Korean beef rice bowl and homemade waffles was delicious. It was a lovely, relaxed way to start our day of sightseeing!

The location is absolutely fantastic, and it's bustling downstairs at night with lots of great food options. Getting around from here is super convenient. However, the triple room was a bit cramped; it would be more comfortable for two people. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the left after exiting Hongik University Station Exit 1. Cross the street, and you're in the Hongdae shopping area, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and browsing. We arrived at the hotel late at night, and the reception staff were polite and attentive. They explained the hotel services and asked if we wanted to use the pool, also specially mentioning that there might be slight noise from nearby construction after 8 AM (though we didn't actually notice any). The room was well-equipped (you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste), the air conditioning worked great, and the space was sufficient. Our room was cleaned daily. It was a very pleasant experience and definitely worth recommending!

Highly recommend this hotel for family trips with kids! The rooms are comfortable, and the location is fantastic with easy access to transport. The swimming pool was quiet and clean, and my child had a wonderful time. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit.

Lotte L7 is a great branded hotel. The stay was excellent, the service was good, and the breakfast was plentiful. They even gave out small gifts! It's also very close to the subway, making it convenient to go anywhere. I'd definitely stay at Lotte L7 again when I come to Korea.
