My partner and I stayed at the Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun for 5 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by Dennis, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He provided us with a lot of helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area, and his service throughout our stay was exceptional – truly 5-star!
The location is fantastic – just a short walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. There are also plenty of convenience stores and cafes nearby, which was super handy. We also appreciated that the airport limousine bus to Incheon Airport stops just a few minutes from the hotel – very convenient for our return trip.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with great amenities and comfortable rooms. It definitely lives up to its 5-star rating.
We highly recommend this hotel to couples, families, or anyone looking for a quality stay in Seoul. We would definitely return in the future!

The airport limousine bus stop is just about right outside the hotel which makes it really convenient. It is also near to myeongdong and the gwangjang market. Hotel room is spacious and service is good. We enjoyed our stay here!

Perfect location, we stayed in studio with small kitchen washing machine, that we actually didn't use during our 3 nights. Generally neat and tidy but not spotless clean, we got our towel replaced with stained one with hair. Space ok for 2 pax, but it is quite strange that there is no hanging point / rack next to bed but a cabinet inside the bathroom instead.

About 200m from the subway dongndaemon history and culture station.
No escalator up, so will be problematic if u have luggage.
Resturant are overpriced.
Pool and gym are nice. Pools are heated and need to be reserved. Choldren room is small but adequate.

We booked a triple room under residents and was happy with the facilities. Well equipped with water dispenser (which is my favourite), washer cum dryer, utensils etc.
Room size was also super great for 3 persons, 8 luggages, and yet sufficient space to move around. Lots of wardrobe too.
Location is super good, 3 mins walk to airport bus bus stop, 5-6 mins walk to DDP & train station. Near to Gwangja Market, Myeongdong.
The toilet is huge too.
Definitely preferred and recommended hotel if i revisit again.
The only cons if they can fostered the shower & toilet glass door so that both can be used at the same time.
