It's still pretty good! The location is super convenient, close to the Hongdae commercial area, saving time and effort for getting around and shopping. The place is well-maintained and clean, the beds are tidy, and the basic facilities are all there. Soundproofing is decent, and the communal bathrooms are clean and refreshing. All the other guests were very respectful, quiet, and not noisy. The hostel atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the price was affordable. It's definitely a top choice for solo travelers looking for value for money. Highly recommended!

I've stayed here a few times. It's close to Hongdae, which is convenient, and it's also close to the airport. The overall environment and hygiene are just so-so, but it's cheap, so it'll do.

As a first-time visitor to Seoul, South Korea, I would highly recommend this hostel. The bed was comfortable, and the shower area was clean and well-maintained. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Since I spent most of my time outside exploring the city, this place was a safe and convenient place to leave my luggage. If I ever return to Seoul and am looking for an affordable hostel, I would definitely stay here again.

It's convenient from the subway station and also bus station. Easy to find and 24h access. The room is just right, air conditioned and aired out regularly. You got a towel, and electric socket on your bed. Most of the people are mannerly and keep quiet at night. You cannot store your luggage in the room. There's vanity area to do make up and hair. Shower room both in 1st and 2nd floor, and there'sseparate female and male restroom. The shower room is communal, 2 people can shower together side by side so if it's bother you you just need to wait up.

I had a great time staying at Birdnest hostel as a solo traveller. The location is perfect because being there puts you in the middle of such a cool neighborhood. It’s super easy to get around since the infrastructure is great, with plenty of bus stops and subway stations nearby. There are also tons of shops and cafes to choose from whenever you want. The room was pretty comfortable and clean. I was especially glad that the air conditioner worked in such a hot weather. I also liked the little outside terrace with a table where you can have breakfast:) I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Seoul!

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, and transportation is convenient. Restaurants and shopping are all close by. Although I arrived late, the front desk reserved a bed for self-check-in. It's great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

I'm back again, as always, for my Rejuran treatments with Mr. Han! It's a budget-friendly option. Facilities: Hot water: Great Heating: Great Cleanliness: Clean Environment: Even though it's a bit old, it's cozy and comfortable; I never feel out of place! Service: Always excellent! This time, I was served by a friendly Korean gentleman, who seemed like the owner.

The door for the bedroom has no lock. Anyone can come in during sleeping

Not enough bathrooms but at least they were very clean. I wish they'd turn off the lights in the common area (every time somebody went in and out of the room the light would shine through my current and sometimes wake me up) and maybe enforce rules like not talking on the phone on speaker in the common area right by the rooms. I am only complaining because of how easily these things are to prevent. Great area and price though.

My experience was interesting as I requested a summary of how to get to the hostel which I never got and as my e-sim was not working it meant a longer route than it should have been. The service in the hostel was good although there was only 1 toilet for male and female which sometimes causes issues .The towel was too small.

Location is excellent , within 5mins of walk you are surrounded by lots of restaurants and cafes. Its peaceful street where the hostel is located. The 2nd floor had constant stink of sewer which made the experience poor. Shower had hot water. There are wooden lockers(like in the gym, but small size apron. 0.5ft X 0.5ft) where you need your own lock to secure.
