La Villa Hotel

Two metro lines nearby. The room was clean. There's a fridge. Check-out is by 11 AM, otherwise, an extra charge applies.

I was very disappointed with the usual male staff member; he was extremely rude. We stayed for two nights, and since there was no 'please clean' sign in our room, I used one from an empty room next door. When I called, the staff member's attitude was awful, which was a real negative. The location is good, but I wish the window glass were cleaner so we could fully enjoy the view.

This is my second stay at this hotel this month. The room is spacious, with a table and chairs by the window, bathrobes, and large towels. They only provide water at check-in, not thereafter. Housekeeping is daily if you hang the sign, and they provide single-use packets of shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, a comb, and a toothbrush. Check-in is via an automatic machine, but it's not complicated. You also return the key to the machine at checkout. We once forgot our room card in the room, but there's a call button on the machine. I connected with staff and explained the situation through a translator. The employee asked for my details and issued a new room card, also through the machine. There's a 24-hour convenience store near the hotel. The room has a large TV with YouTube. The hotel has convenient parking, and we always found a spot. A good hotel.

Great stay! I felt really comfortable here. It's super close to the supermarket and a metro station, and there are tons of food options nearby. It's excellent value for money and the price was really affordable. Plus, check-in and check-out were a breeze, all done by machine.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. The hotel itself is a bit run down and the room had quite a few flaws, but the wonderful staff and spacious rooms really made up for it. I can't imagine how people live in 14 square meter windowless rooms in the city center; here, at least, two people can comfortably coexist and enjoy the view from the windows! It's a leisurely 10-minute walk to the metro, and then 15-20 minutes by metro to the city center, depending on where you're going. There are plenty of places around to grab breakfast and even have a nice dinner after 10 PM. In short, if you're not overly picky and your goal isn't to stay cooped up in your room all day, then the value for money is decent! The photo shows the view from the room.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and convenience stores are right next to the hotel on both sides, which was great. The amenities were well-stocked with individual sachets of shampoo, body soap, conditioner, etc., plus a toothbrush and instant coffee, which was more than enough. It's a bit far from the city center, but I liked that it offered a more local feel.

I really liked this hotel. The bathroom with frosted glass was a nice touch, and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced every day. Toiletries were also replenished daily. The overhead shower was super cool! The hotel's location is fantastic, situated between two metro stations, making it easy to get to central Seoul. There are also plenty of shops, a market, and cafes nearby. Plus, there are mountains close by if you fancy a hike. They even have signs in Russian, and the owner speaks a bit of Russian too! 😊
