Hostel Haru

I felt so comfortable in the lovely lounge, as I didn't want to make a mess in the room.

I've stayed here many times. I really love the atmosphere of the common areas. It's convenient that the shower and toilet are separate in the guest rooms, so you don't have to go outside every time. There are multiple sinks and refrigerators, which are easy to use, and I appreciate that a bottle of water and two towels are provided daily. It's located close to the station and the downtown area, making it a very convenient location for sightseeing and dining from morning till night.

This is my second time staying at this hostel: it's very conveniently located, just 5 minutes from the metro. It's clean and beautiful. Self-check-in is password-based, no card required. A day before check-in, they email you instructions with all the passwords and explanations. There are two lounge areas: a small one and a larger one, each with a beautiful view and a mini kitchen (toaster/kettle/microwave/sink). You can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out. The building also has a salad bar where you can get a discount on food from the hotel, a Korean language school, and a martial arts school where English classes are also available. The hotel is located on a busy street with lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, karaoke, and more, but the rooms are quiet and soundproofed. Nearby is Daiso, many 24-hour shops, a market, and Insadong Street is within easy walking distance. Myeongdong is a 30-minute walk away, and Cheonggyecheon Stream is a minute away. Highly recommended! I will definitely come back again!
