Oryu Bon Motel

The location is fantastic! It's very close to Oryu-dong Station, and there's a 7-Eleven, CU, tteokbokki stalls, Daiso, and local Korean restaurants all within walking distance, so it's great value for money. The staff at the reception also spoke a little Japanese, which was helpful as I was able to get my room key before check-in. However, the room I stayed in this time only had one window, and even when opened, it didn't let in any light. Plus, there was a strange odor when it was open, so I kept it closed the whole time. The interior might differ between rooms, but this particular room was truly awful. I definitely won't be staying here again.

The hotel is about 500m from Oryu-dong train station. From Exit 3, take the elevator or escalator down to the street, then turn left as shown in my picture. Walk straight for about 500m, and you'll find Hotel BORN (located behind Lemon Tree Hotel). The hotel has an elevator, and the rooms are spacious enough to open two large suitcases at once. The only downside is that the lighting in the room is a dim yellow, typical of a love hotel, so it's not bright enough for makeup. Also, the walk back to the hotel at night is quite deserted, which made me, a solo female traveler, feel a bit scared.

This motel is also known as Motel Born. You won't find it without the address. It's clean and tidy, with daily cleaning service. It's 300 meters from the subway and 50 meters from CU and 7-Eleven stores.

The room size was bigger than I expected and very clean, which I appreciated. The bathroom, despite looking a bit old, also felt clean, which was a plus. However, I wasn't told beforehand, but even without requesting it, they cleaned the room and refilled the water and towels. While I was grateful, it was a little awkward because I hadn't realized they would come in and had left my suitcase wide open, with all my underwear and other personal items visible.
