Dongdaemun Saturn Hotel

The hotel is very spacious and conveniently located near both subway and bus stations, making it easy to get around the city. The neighborhood is quiet, although it seems to be dominated by car dealerships and there are not many dining options within walking distance. My main issues were with the room itself. It had a noticeable smoke smell, one of the towels had a hole in it, and the walls were quite thin. One night, I was woken up by noise from a neighboring room. The hotel does not offer a full breakfast, but complimentary toast and jam are available. I also appreciated the 24-hour coffee machine, which was a nice touch. Overall, the location, space, and convenience were positives. The property may be better suited to adults than families or those looking for a quieter hotel environment.

I stayed for three nights. The service was great and staff was super polite and helpful. However they gave me a room that was not clean when I checked in. There was dust all along the bathroom and stain on the shower floor, the toilet seat had a brown dot as if someone just used it and did not clean. I thought I was being too picky and I was really tired so I let it slide and took a shower… until I saw a receipt dated 5 days before I arrived on the desk and then I realized that the room was really not clean or at least not cleaned properly. I felt kinda disgusted as I just took a shower. Thankfully the staff was really apologetic and gave me a premium room for one night. I had to change again to my standard room the next morning.
