Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan

I stayed here for a 2-day, 1-night trip to Seoul ☺️ It was my first time staying at Novotel Ambassador Suites, and I was really satisfied! It's directly connected to Yongsan Station and IPark Mall, making it super convenient to get around. I stayed in a Junior Suite, and the room condition was excellent, with a fantastic view from the room! The city view of the Han River and Seoul's downtown was truly impressive. With a swimming pool and sauna, it's an excellent place for a 'ho-cance' (hotel vacation) 👍

The in-room washing machine was super convenient, but there was nowhere to hang the wet clothes. It would be perfect if there was a place to hang clothes opposite the wardrobe. The hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall, subway station, and convenience stores nearby. Overall, it's pretty good.

The room was clean and tidy, quite spacious for Seoul. It even had a washing machine. Breakfast was good, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. The location is also very convenient, right next to the high-speed train station and a shopping mall.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, we really appreciated it. This was our first trip with our child and we were very satisfied. The gym was refreshing and the breakfast was especially good.

I really liked the work of the administrator, the guy, and the young female translator at the front desk. She was very clever and pleasant. And that's about it. It's also probably convenient that a mall and a currency exchange are nearby, but those are everywhere, so it's not really an issue. Honestly, this hotel doesn't deserve more than a 3-star rating. The rooms are messy, the cleaning is terrible. Everything is old and dilapidated. The view is mediocre. If you arrive late, there are no stores nearby, just one small grocery store around the corner. It's a residential area. For a claimed 5-star hotel, and being listed second among the best (which is what caught my attention before I booked), it absolutely doesn't live up to it! The washing machine in the room leaks, and there's no detergent. The bathrobe 'smelled' of sweat on our first day 🤢🤮. The furniture is scratched, there are no dishes, not even a knife. What a nightmare.

I chose this hotel because it's so close to Myeongdong, and right next to a duty-free shop and a subway station. The room was really spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The high-floor view was absolutely stunning, offering a great panorama of Namsan Tower. I'll definitely pick this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul!

Excellent value for money, and the Han River view is fantastic. The room is huge, like an apartment, with a microwave and washing machine included. The nearby I'Park Mall makes shopping convenient, and direct access to Yongsan Station means no worries about rain. The pool was under maintenance during my stay, though.

This is an excellent hotel, truly deserving of its 5-star rating. The rooms are also much more spacious than other hotels in Seoul. It's about a 6-7 minute walk to Yongsan Station. If I come back to Seoul, I'll definitely book this suite again.

I really liked the hotel, its location, and the fact that there was a lot of delicious food and local branded clothing nearby. There was one downside: my iPhone charger went missing. I reported it to the front desk, and the next day, while I was out, they supposedly found the charger under the sofa, even though I hadn't unplugged it from the wall. So, I recommend putting all small items in the safe. Even though it's a minor thing, it left a bad taste in my mouth. 😕
