The hotel's setting was very pleasant. However, the room was quite cramped, and the towels felt like old rags. The bed was extremely soft. Despite these issues, for the price, it offered decent overall value. It's conveniently located in the city center, just a stone's throw from bars.
a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions, shopping, and food options. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a good stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, from check-in to check-out, and were responsive whenever assistance was needed. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming.
Facilities were well-kept, and the hotel offered good value for money compared to similar options in the area. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would consider staying here again on my next visit.
The location is fantastic, especially if you love nightlife. There are tons of bars and clubs nearby, and it's super close to Hannam-dong too. Just a heads-up, you can definitely hear the music from the neighboring bars at night, but it didn't bother me much. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, rooms clean with all basic amenities. Reception staff speak English and are helpful. Many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Itaewon metro station also within walking distance.
The dorm room on the first floor has three bunk beds, accommodating up to six guests. It's a mixed dorm. While the room is small, it wasn't an issue since I spent most of my time in the common area when not sleeping. Shampoo is provided in the shared shower rooms. As it's a guesthouse, your experience will likely vary depending on who your fellow guests are. It's about a 10-minute walk from Itaewon Station on Seoul Subway Line 6. Be aware that the route involves either a steep slope or stairs, so it might be challenging for guests with mobility issues.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the stuff were very friendly and helpful even we can only use google translate to communicate.
There’s an unexpected constructional incident happened during the stay, was impressed by their quick response and helpful solution.
The accommodation is super affordable and the location is convenient. The staff were very kind and gentle, which I truly appreciated. However, I felt uncomfortable with the hygiene. There were quite a few mosquitoes and insects inside (I killed at least five mosquitoes), which made it hard to relax. In addition, the bed sheets and towels seemed to be washed and dried in-house, as some stains remained. Overall, the cleanliness was not comfortable for me.
The staff here are so warm and kind, it makes you not want to leave! It's like a mini international university, with young people from all over the world gathering here. Truly unforgettable! I'll be back very soon! Hong Kong David
This hotel is conveniently located in Itaewon near the subway station. It is smaller than it appeared, but it had all the amenities needed, plus some toiletries. There was a slight smell, slightly stuffy, and like maybe someone was covering up cigarette smoke. That was really the only downside. The room had WiFi and Netflix on the TV. I said “friends” in the guest option because I wouldn’t recommend this to families. It had more of a friends for the night vibe.
There was one. I stayed for one night. Everything is very cool! Friendly staff, comfortable room. I especially want to highlight the bed. It was so comfortable... everything was clean. Incredible view from the roof. And this is not just an observation deck, but a space where you can relax. The building itself is close to the metro and bus stop.
I'm thrilled!

GGuest UserOur stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul truly exceeded expectations! ✨
The hotel is nestled halfway up Namsan Mountain, offering an exceptionally good environment. Everywhere you look, there are lush green trees, providing expansive views and fresh air. Both the rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean and well-designed, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.
The dining experience was also fantastic. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or other meals, the variety was rich and the flavors authentic. The Korean dishes, in particular, stood out with fresh ingredients and superb taste.
The service was absolutely impeccable. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm, attentive, and polite, always ready to assist. They made us feel truly at home.
What surprised me most was how incredibly quiet the hotel was inside, despite its central location. You couldn't hear any outside noise, allowing for complete relaxation and enjoyment of a peaceful time.
Overall, this was an excellent experience for a couple's trip, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
시시골쥐리뷰I went with a friend and used a double bed room. I had a bit of trouble finding the check-in kiosk, but the manager was very helpful. The room was just the right size for sleeping, and the table was large, so it was nice to eat the food I bought at night. There was no fridge, but it had everything: a hair dryer, toothbrush, water, two towels, and shower products! People with large suitcases might find it a bit uncomfortable. Ours was small, so it was comfortable and nice. ㅎㅎ You can hear the noise from the next room, but it didn't bother us at all, so we slept really well. I was planning to visit Haebangchon, so I booked Sounds Inn, and it was a great choice. The location is also 👍👍👍 Thank you!
GGuest UserI visited to enjoy a quiet staycation alone.
In the midst of the hectic pace of Seoul,
I chose the Banyan Tree because I loved the feeling of being in nature,
leisurely immersed in nature.
Looking out the bathroom window at the traffic jams,
I found it healing to enjoy some alone time.
I relaxed and enjoyed the view of Namsan Tower from the relaxation pool, relieving the tension I'd built up.
The room was old-fashioned but clean, and the sofas and beds were clean.
(There are many places where the sofas are so uncomfortable that they're uncomfortable to sit on.)
The overwhelming feeling of the relaxation pool, which could accommodate several people,
made me feel like I was in a really nice hotel.
The bathroom was also excellent and clean.
The bed was very spacious and comfortable, and the bedding felt so enveloping that I slept soundly.
There was a wait for breakfast, which was a little after 9:00 AM,
but it was quieter than the buffet breakfast, and I didn't feel disturbed by others, which was better.
I don't like heavy breakfasts. I ordered natto abalone, and I was very satisfied with the sea urchin steamed egg and fruit.
Since my goal was to relax, I didn't get to enjoy Banyan Tree's famous pool.
I was a little disappointed, but I checked out and will be back next time.
If you're looking for a quiet escape in Seoul, Banyan Tree is the place to be.
MMinamaniIt's a good hotel for a short stay and is close to Itaewon Station. There's a convenience store nearby. The room is reasonable for the price, but it's not very soundproof.
SSharon0313Although the room was small, it was very clean and the shower water was hot. The cleaning staff was Chinese, and the front desk had two friendly Korean ladies. The location is excellent, and it's generally clean. However, if you mind the room window facing a residential area, you might prefer a bigger hotel. This place feels more like a goshiwon (a type of budget accommodation in Korea). The facilities are a bit old, but everything else is great. There are many dining options downstairs, and it's very convenient to get to Gangnam by bus.
