Toyoko-inn properties in Seoul

First, the good points: the location is truly excellent, with three subway lines downstairs and Dongdaemun Cheonggyecheon right next door, even though Dongdaemun was closed for the Mid-Autumn Festival 😂. The front desk staff are also very enthusiastic and always willing to help with any issues. I forgot my power adapter, and they lent me one for free. Now for the downsides: the room, especially the bathroom, is small. However, I understand the cost of living in Seoul, and for this price, I can't really complain. On the first day, after cleaning, they put the toilet seat cover back down – isn't that unhygienic when I use a disposable toilet seat cover? 😠 Also, on the second day, I specifically asked them not to touch anything except for emptying the trash, but they still folded the duvet and threw my pajamas onto the bedside table – isn't that unhygienic? 😒 The breakfast wasn't just simple; it was rudimentary 😂, though you could get a full meal. I suspect the coffee was instant. 😔 There's an ancient city gate nearby, and plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and shops, which is very convenient. Overall, for this price in Seoul, it's just a place to crash, nothing more.

I took bus 6009 to Ramada Encore, and it's right across the street from the stop. The room was quite small, and the bathroom constantly had drainage noise and a sewer smell, so the air in the room wasn't very fresh. The side of the double bed by the window had no power outlet, which was inconvenient for charging my phone. I was surprised the hotel didn't have extra pillows or blankets to lend; I could only borrow a throw blanket (the double bed only came with one thin comforter and two pillows), which is truly hard to understand. This was my second stay, and it felt worse than the last time. I didn't bother with breakfast this time because I remembered it being just 'okay.' I probably won't stay here again.

To my fellow Ctrip users, please take my review seriously and provide feedback to the hotel to encourage improvements. With the current positive relationship between China and South Korea, and the increasing number of Korean travel routes and Chinese visitors choosing Korea, please ensure the quality of your products. I’m not a person who likes to give low ratings. But this time I feel it necessary to point out some rudeness from the hotel staff. I stayed at the hotel for multiple days, so my observation is fair enough. I don’t know why the service staff were kind of rude to me. If it is not allowed to check out a bit later, you could let me know or just charge an extra fee, instead of being impolite when giving me the warning. Besides, they speak very broken English, so they cannot accurately understand what I say. As an international chain hotel, please standardize your service, be polite even if the client doesn’t know the policy, and hire staff who speak better English.

The room is not big but clean and comfortable. It is 3 minutes walk from the subway station. There is an airport bus at the door. There are many choices for breakfast, including bread, toast, porridge, side dishes, lettuce salad, coffee, Yakult. High CP value
