## Location Unbeatable location. It's within walking distance of Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. It's also close to City Hall, Myeongdong, Anguk, and Insadong, making it rich in commercial facilities. However, being in the Central Business District (CBD), the surroundings can be bustling with many office workers. ## View The view was also exceptional. However, I expect the quality of the view to vary significantly depending on the room line. In my case, it was a section of the Pagoda Tower that offered a great line of sight, with a panoramic view of the Euljiro building line – Hanhwa Building, Mirae Asset, Shinhan Bank – and the Cheonggyecheon Stream stretching out. While it might not appeal to those who find city views stifling, I personally found it very pleasing. ## Room I received an upgrade to a Jacuzzi Suite, and since the bed was separated from the rest of the space by a door, the bed didn't get damp like it sometimes does at Banyan Tree. The living room with the jacuzzi also didn't feel overly humid. The bedding and other furniture were impeccably clean. I was initially concerned because there was construction going on in the building during my visit, but I barely heard any noise. It seemed like a lot of attention was paid to soundproofing. The late check-out was also reasonably priced at 20,000 KRW, and overall, it was an excellent experience. ## Service Overall, the service was excellent, though I subtly felt that the staff weren't entirely accustomed to handling requests yet. However, this isn't to say there was a lack of professionalism. For some unknown reason, perhaps overbooking, I received a room upgrade without any inconvenience whatsoever. Any difficulties or questions I had during my stay were addressed promptly and smoothly. However, having to use a personal phone for room service or inquiries felt a bit awkward and was a slight downside. ## Overall Review A superb hotel that I would definitely revisit. It has solid fundamentals, reasonable pricing, and is just a minute's walk from Cheonggyecheon Stream, perfect for a stroll anytime. Its location is ideal for accessing major tourist spots anywhere in Seoul, including Myeongdong, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Anguk, and Namsan. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a pure 'hotelcation' (a vacation spent entirely at the hotel). It's highly recommended if sightseeing is a major part of your trip.

The front desk service was pretty mediocre and unwelcoming. When our driver helped us with our luggage, they just stood there. The location is good, but they charge extra for an additional blanket. Overall, it's still decent. We chose this place because there were six of us. It's lively downstairs but surprisingly not noisy. The BBQ fried chicken next door is delicious and highly recommended!

The room size at this hotel was decent, and the decor was simple and clean. The bedding was also very comfortable. We booked a room with a large bathtub, but it took quite a while to fill it up. The only downside was the noise from outside the hotel. There seemed to be some nightlife activities going on upstairs, facing the street, with many people hailing taxis and talking loudly. Also, we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us for 4 AM the next day, and they agreed, but then failed to do so. This was quite surprising to me, as when we walked out at 4 AM, there were plenty of empty taxis and even buses already running. Luckily, we had a backup plan and didn't miss our high-speed train.

1. Great location, easy to find. 2. Lots of good restaurants nearby, and convenient for a casual drink in the evening. 3. The convenience store isn't far, and delivery services are available from places like Namdaemun. 4. I was on a high floor and the view of Namsan was great. However, if you don't close the curtains at night, people outside might be able to see in. 5. The spa was excellent. 6. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room dry. 7. The shower pressure might feel a bit weak for some, but it's not an issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. The kids absolutely loved having a table for breakfast and a bathtub in the room. What truly stood out was being able to communicate with the staff via LINE; they were incredibly quick to respond when the TV stopped working at night. The Japanese female staff member who checked us in was also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. *Due to the room layout, it was a bit difficult to fully open our suitcases.

It was the perfect for the five of us, where we had a communal area to dine together and to unpack / pack our bags in (from all the shopping!) We arrived by car so we didn’t have to navigate the metro with luggage. But the nearest exit to the lift lobby is stairs; if you’d prefer escalators especially after a long day of walking or just want to save some energy as you head out for the day, there’s another metro exit just around the corner (exit 6 or 7 if I’m not wrong; one is stairs the other is escalator). One thing to note would be that the guest laundry is not self-service laundry; instead you could pass your laundry to the front desk and they will do your laundry for you, then you would need to collect it at the front desk once it’s done. From our observation, they do remove the clothes from laundry nets if you choose to put it in laundry nets as our clothes and laundry nets were all mixed up when we received it back. Some of the clothes were not fully dry but not much of an issue as we could dry it in the toilets/rooms. In the end we only did laundry twice throughout our stay (ideally we’d do laundry everyday) Overall it was a pleasant stay and this is recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay in Seoul to fit a small group of friends!

Our family of five (3 adults, 2 children) stayed in a Family Wood Suite. Taking off our shoes at the entrance, it felt just like a 3LDK (3-bedroom apartment with living, dining, and kitchen) in Japan. The room was very clean and, as shown in the pictures, incredibly spacious and comfortable with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Having two bathrooms was a huge plus, making it easy for a large family to use without issues. We often ate meals bought from the nearby convenience store in the separate living room. The living room was very convenient, equipped with two refrigerators, a kettle, tableware, and bottled mineral water. Amenities included towels (changed daily), shampoo, and body wash, but no toothbrushes or pajamas. The location was excellent: a few minutes' walk to the nearest station, 10 minutes to Lotte Department Store, 15 minutes to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and 15 minutes to Myeongdong Street. There were also plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, a McDonald's, Starbucks, and Olive Young around the hotel, so we could easily get anything we needed. The staff included Japanese-speaking members, which made check-in and check-out very smooth. Our kids absolutely loved it, so I highly recommend it for families.

Hotel: UH Suite Service: The front desk service was friendly, and we could store our luggage for free. Facilities: The in-room facilities and equipment were generally good (2 refrigerators, microwave, oven, utensils, pots and pans, etc.). Environment: The room was clean and tidy. Location: There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and it's only about a 5-10 minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 4. Disadvantages: The total room rate for our two-night stay was 1.65 million Korean Won, but the overall experience was not very good. The air conditioning in the common area wasn't working from the moment we checked in, making the whole place stuffy. When we reported it, we were told it would take two days to fix, so they asked us to open the windows. However, once the windows were open, the noise from the street poured in, severely affecting our stay. We requested compensation from the hotel, but the compensation options they offered were either unnecessary or unacceptable to us (airport transfer, bath bombs, another airport transfer, 80,000 KRW refund for two nights...). We asked the hotel for a refund of at least 160,000 KRW (for two nights), but they refused and told us to handle it with the booking platform ourselves. Finally, we contacted Trip.com for assistance. The hotel initially offered to compensate 10% of the total room rate and asked if we would accept. We agreed, but the very next day, Trip.com informed us that the hotel had changed its mind. Such indecisiveness from the hotel was truly baffling! Thank you, Trip.com, for your help in resolving this. If these issues hadn't occurred, I would say the quality of this accommodation is acceptable. Perhaps we were just unlucky to encounter these specific problems this time around. 😅

Our family of seven (three mothers, two university students, one high school student, and one elementary school student) stayed in a room on the top floor. The living room was very spacious and clean, allowing all of us to relax comfortably throughout our stay, even with such a large group. The free early check-in, a pre-arranged review benefit, was applied, and getting into our room earlier was a huge help. The front desk staff were also very courteous and pleasant, which we appreciated. Our room was equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer and a microwave, which was perfect for heating up takeout food for everyone to enjoy together. We had checked the reviews beforehand regarding the shower's drainage, so we adjusted our use accordingly and had absolutely no issues. The location was excellent, about a 15-minute walk to Myeongdong. There were many shops nearby, including two convenience stores and a chicken restaurant, so we never had trouble with shopping. The bus stop was also very close, making it incredibly easy to get around by bus no matter where we wanted to go. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to Korea!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. During the daytime, there are fewer shops open, but at night the area becomes lively with bars, restaurants, and street food stalls. Convenience stores, Olive Young, Subway station are just a 2-3 minutes walk away, which makes everything very accessible. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I would recommend this hotel. The only downside is that the shower drainage could be improved, as water tends to accumulate in one area instead of flowing properly into the floor trap.
