I like the hotel environment very much. There are not many people and it is relatively quiet. If you like liveliness, you can consider other hotels, but the busiest place is right outside the hotel. The hotel staff are all super nice However, the hotel is relatively old, very old, it seems to have been built in 1990, and the facilities are average.

good value for money this hotel. Classic descent rooms with silent air and big balcony. lovely big pool with clean water. Right at the beach as well. Rates are cheap. for that price you get a great breakfast, was positively surprised. Yes all is in need of refurbishment but for the price paid, I would happily come back. Staff are mostly older than the surrounding hotel staff are which makes for a bit more character present, sometimes a bit weird or unfriendly or stubborn but it did not spoil my holidays. It used to be the top notch hotel in Gambia a decade ago. Very centrally located but still very quiet.

A really good hotel with spacious rooms. The facilities are good with new ACs installed in the rooms. WiFi covering qll main spots and rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff, always offering help when in need. Hotel Manager is such a dedicated man. I got to see playful monkeys around enjoying mature before sunsets. Pool is big and spacious. Most rooms are with a view on the ocean. As for location, it is located in Senegambia district which is the touristic area in Gambia. Breakfast is nice.

The hotel has a old Victorian style building with beautiful landscape surrounding with peacocks, monkeys & tropical birds with easy access to the beachfront. The staff are impeccable and will cater to your needs. Location is in the heart of Senegambia for easy access to shop, bars, Transport.

I had a wonderful experience at the Kairaba Hotel in Gambia. The location is perfect, right on the beach and close to the vibrant Senegambia Strip. The gardens are beautiful and full of life, with peacocks and monkeys adding a unique touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome. The pool area is relaxing, and the atmosphere overall is peaceful and enjoyable. If you want a place to unwind and enjoy Gambia’s beauty, Kairaba Hotel is a great choice!”

Kairaba is a great property. The location is excellent. On the one side you have the Atlantic Ocean and its beach and at the other end you have the famous Senegambia strip. However, this once icon of Gambia's hotel seem to have lost its mojo. Service is ok. Rooms are fine, maintenance, well, things work. But the place jyst doesn't have its spark no more.
