Apartments Plaza Hotel

Never again! Good location is you want to be in the thick and thin of Senegambia. Close to lots of places to eat..... however be careful you also risk contracting Shingella. We were so unwell the day after we returned home to UK which was sheer luck as we both ended up in hospital. The rooms were cleaned daily and cleaners were pleasant. The hotel manager Mr Hadi was very helpful and ready to help. We spent 4 nights in this hotel. There were huge bugs crawling around on balcony so you can't sit there for very long. The hotel rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment and modernization, old fashioned furniture in the rooms. The gym was laughable shut it down or turn it into a lounge area. I imagine back in the day this hotel would have been sought after due to location and size of rooms however. Our room was at the front so we were entertained by thousands, literally thousands of people just gathering on New year's Eve it was like a massive carnival. Would we return to that hotel.........NO!

To all I stayed here for 2 weeks April 2025, I was surprised with a few things about my experience, bed sheets changed every day, tea coffee water , cleaned very good. Even more with the cleaning staff who cleaned my shoes after standing in mud, very shocked.
