Quite good hotel

I have visited a few hotels in The Gambia over a few years and Kasumai beach hotel is one of my favourites. The staff are all amazing and so friendly that it feels like you are family. The beach is beautiful and the views amazing I watched the sunset most evenings drinking a fresh coconut (bliss) The grounds are spotless and the restaurant serves high quality food with a variety of choices delivered with exceptional service. The reception staff are fantastic and helpful. The house keeping are amazing with their warm greetings and attentiveness. The rooms are very spacious, with a large bathroom, great size bed and comfortable pillows. The rooms include a fridge, Tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The only criticism I have is the bumpy track leading to the hotel from the road. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I would highly recommend Kasumai Beach Hotel. I would stay here again.

12 room hotel on the beach 24/7 security so very safe Supermarket five minute walk away Excellent steakhouse 50 metres away The Senegambia strip is a five minute ( 300 dalasi ) taxi ride Room 11 the Panoramic sea view room is exceptional - see photos Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice - just ask if you want anything not on show All the staff from the cleaners to the pool boys were very good and polite Hadi did great massages Pa had the restaurant well organised with tasty food served on time But the star of the show was Lamin in reception who did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our vacation - promotion to manager cannot be long in coming !! Worth a visit

My sister, myself and my son, spent two weeks in the Kasumai Beach Resort in November 2024. We have been blessed to travel extensively around the world. This particular trip to Gambia was exceptional. The hotel certainly added to this experience being so amazing. The manager Amadou leads the way in how professional the staff are, and this was evident in all areas of the hotel. Food was of a high standard, delicious breakfast each morning and everyone was happy and smiling. The guys that managed the pool area and ensured that all holiday makers enjoyed their time relaxing, nothing was too much trouble and again always with a smile and positive vibes. We experienced many trips with Musa who works in the hotel, and I would highly recommend him for excursions. They were interesting, smooth and not as costly as some large corporate operations. Ousman who manages the area outside and the beach is an absolute gem and ensures that guests are kept safe and happy. Never have we experienced a Hotel where EVERONE is genuinely happy and kind! If you are thinking of booking this hotel then do, it really did make our holiday experience exceptional. We will certainly be back next year with more of our family.!

We visited for lunch, ordered tuna salad & chicken sandwich. Both bar girl & waitress friendly, helpful & attentive. Tuna salad lovely, chicken sandwich not, spoke with waitress who apologised & immediately removed from bill & because of this we will return as the setting is beautiful & service we received great! Thx girls😄
