HM Dunas Blancas

I recently stayed at Dunas Blancas and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel was impeccably clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The highlight was definitely the walk through onto the beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, making it a truly memorable experience. Recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway.

HM Dunas Blancas was visually stunning. Arrived before we knew it and settled into our rooms. Modern furniture, great sleeps on a much thicker mattress than I’m used to on holiday. We’d booked the half board package and I thought the food was great. They went to a lot of trouble to have a nice mix of dishes and the grill was delicious. We even kept up our activities in the gym, only small but nice space. Right on the beach, we split our time by one of the pools or decamping on the sand. As it was so close, we did spend a day shopping in Palma, fantastic day with the girls. Beautiful time of year to visit, solid blue skies.

Double room, felt modern, the detailing is great. Nice to have a safe in the room. Bathroom was matching in style, good shower, plenty of hotwater. The service at breakfast was excellent and the range of dishes was good. Difficult to keep away from the fresh pastries. Excellent atmosphere, felt comfortable and relaxed within the first couple of days. Enjoyed our time here.

The hotel is an excellent standard. It has a small but perfectly formed gym, three pools and a great pool bar. The buffet restaurant started at 7.30 and was kept well filled even if you arrived much later. The service in the restaurant and our room was excellent, Nice to have free wi fi and a safe. The area has lots of restaurants and bars and the beach is a long ribbon of golden sand. Twenty minutes and you’re in the centre of Palma. Cool, relaxed place, we were left to our own devices but could be waited on if and when you felt the need. Great choice.

Booked a package holiday with Jet2 staying for 4 nights at Dunas Blancos with my 10 year old son. Hotel itself is beautiful, staff are welcoming and friendly. During our stay my son was the only child I saw during our 4 days there. Restaurant staff are excellent, my son has anaphylaxis to nuts and every time we entered the restaurant the restaurant manager would get the chef to go through everything that was suitable for my son to eat during breakfast/evening meal, one morning even made plain pancakes especially for him. Very very attentive and reassuring. Thank you! Plenty of choice at the restaurant for breakfast, evening meals were themed but always find something to eat. Room was great for what we wanted, 2 large beds, shower, sink in room, fridge and enough storage space for the 2 of us, tv, plenty of electric point and some USB points, kettles are available to hire. There were 3 pools which were lovely, and the pool bar staff very attentive in making sure the pool side areas were kept clean removing any empty cups, stopping people from smoking around the poolside, calming any roudiness and removing any pool inflatables that had been brought in. The pool bar sangria was beautiful 😋 the hotel seems to attact many many youngsters in large groups which at times were a little bit intimidating, sometimes I would be in the pool with my son when around 10/15 people would descent at one time into the pool and we would end up getting out and move to a quieter pool down the bottom by the restaurant. Night times were noisy with limited sleep due to youngsters running up and down corridors, talking/shouting loudly, banging doors, this would go on until around 5:30am when I presume they would be arriving back from a night out before crashing out!! Our last afternoon at the hotel was probably the worse when a new group of people arrived and got to know an existing group at the hotel, music was being blasted from a balcony, lots of drinking on the balcony and at one point when my son was in the pool items were being thrown into the pools such as cigarettes, bottle tops, socks, lighters and coins. Despite being told several times by the staff to stop due to the group being drunk they disrespected the staffs requests to stop and quieten down. Overall the hotel was great but debatable as to wether it is a family hotel as I said my son was the only child I saw during our stay. The hotel is not at fault for the specific group of people it attracts. The hotel is close to the beach front which is absolutely stunning and had the best lastnight watching the sun set, truly amazing! Lovely walk along the front with lots of shops, bars, supermarkets. We played the crazy golf 2 nights in a row and had great fun 😄 overall we had a lovely lovely stay. Thank you Dunas Blancos.

Our favourite time of year is October and the weather in Majorca is always so gorgeous, warm but not scorching. Surprisingly clean, this hotel is modern and so easy on the eye. The staff on reception were really the only ones I had much to do with and were easy to talk to. We chose the area for being near the beach, a skip away from the city and a short ride to the airport. How clever. We stayed six nights and felt at home immediately.

This really looks the part, inside and out. Smart, up to date furniture. In our room the black bathroom fittings make it so smart, I was having ideas of doing something similar to my dated bathroom …….. Apart from the look, the staff were friendly and managed to help me with a simple job without any fuss. The breakfast buffet was a great one, most days we didn’t need lunch after the amount we indulged in, just too good to leave alone. Really enjoyed this holiday, perfect location and everything else really.

I had an excellent stay at Dunas Blancas for a week in October, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Especially the front desk staff. The room was modern and clean and housekeeping was good. I also liked the food. The pools are clean and they look well maintained. I can’t wait to come back for a second time.

Nice modern hotel not far from the airport, so convenient. Had everything we wanted. Great swimming pools with enough sunbeds for everyone and a good bar service. Restaurant buffet is varied and fresh but shame it's closed in on lower floor. Rooms are modern and simple without much in terms of luxury but they work well and everything was clean. Very nice reception staff who helped with all our questions. Beach outside and numerous bars and restaurants to try. Good hotel.
