"a charming hotel in a small town, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was cozy and well-decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did find the kitchen lacking; it would have been more convenient to have an induction stove and a microwave, along with some basic cooking equipment like pots and pans. While there was a supermarket across the road, stocking up on raw food proved challenging for a short stay. Additionally, the absence of nearby restaurants made dining options limited. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provided a comfortable base for my visit."

"The Lonsleira Apartments is a unique collection of 4 apartments or two buildings (duplex) side by side by the water in a beautiful fjord. The apartment is located in the middle of beauty. Everything you would need is in the apartment. A kitchen with all the amenities, spacious bathroom and many bedrooms. Also an outdoor deck with BBQ. We are a family of four and there was ample space. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. It is a smaller town so various restaurants weren't open during our stay and grocery store closes by 5-6pm but there are options. The self check-in process was smooth and easy. Parking outside the apartment is perfect. All 4 apartments were in use when we stayed and could not hear the others during our stay. Also a laundry room is available for use on property which was super helpful for us. To be honest, I was debating whether I should book the Lonsleira Apartments at first as it wasn't your typical "hotel" accommodation but I am so glad I did as it was one of our many highlights for our trip around Iceland. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here."

"The location is great, but the guesthouse itself is very small and not suitable for a stove in the middle, as the Chinese were frying fish for an hour, and our entire room was filled with a terrible smell. My husband threw up from it; the smell was unbearable. In such a small house, the only thing you can leave is a microwave."

"Stopped in for some lunch. Shocking organisation. No system for taking / processing orders. Waited 30mins for food to arrive. Staff were rude and dismissive. Food is overpriced for what’s is basically average pub food fish and chips. Would not recommend."

"This house was amazing! I forgot to take more photos. The location was great, just a short walk from the town entrance. There was a spacious parking lot behind the house, making it easy to carry luggage from the parking space to the room (very important when traveling in Europe). The room, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, and living room were all on the same floor, so there was no need to carry luggage up and down stairs. The living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room were all large, with plenty of wardrobes (and a lot of clothes hangers, which is inconvenient in many places). Hot water was good, and the heating was excellent (each room has its own adjustable heating). The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the kitchen facilities were super complete. We cooked a great dinner. The view from the window was of the harbor cruise ships, fulfilling all my expectations for a guesthouse. I highly recommend choosing this place when visiting this town."
