Olive Garden Hotel

one of the worst hotels ever! from organization to cleaning! I would have a thousand and one things to write here. Front desk service was horrible! Horrible cleaning! and we had to evacuate the hotel due to the fire! they waited until the fire was close to evacuate us and when we evacuated nobody cared about us, until today, 1 week later nobody contacted us to ask if everything was ok or not. experience never to be repeated!

What a fantastic holiday! We've never done all - inclusive before so I was a little apprehensive, however, the Olive Garden exceeded our expectations. The restaurant food was tasty, fresh & was replenished regularly. The freshly made pizzas at the pool bar were a massive hit with our kids! A big shout out to Manos on the main bar, and Tom & Molly who are the entertainment team. There was Aqua gym, aqua dance, table tennis , volleyball, pool darts & pool basketball. Our kids absolutely loved the water slides & made lots of lovely friends :-). The only small downside, was that there were no bars / restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We did visit Lardos Village for an amazing "Greek night" with local greek dancers & street food. Definitely recommend this hotel to families & we will definitely be returning in 2024!

It was a very nice hotel the staff were lovely they helped me a lot i had left my medication at home and the phone the chemist and organised them to have them delivered for me they were very helpful pools were nice the food was nice esp the pizza snack bar and the staff were nice too the beach is not to far which is nice but stones in the sea take water shoes not much around hotel a couple of little places you can get a taxi or a long walk wheres there are places to eat and bars and shops rooms were nice i upgraded to superior room which is not superior than any other room i have stayed in just basic with a sofa bed one thing annoyed me they would jet spray the pool area and bed which would be soaking wet the time we got there other than that we had a great time

Olive Garden Lardos is a superb hotel. We arrived on the 27th September in the middle of the night and were first greeted by one of the very nice members of staff who swiftly checked us in. As it was 2 am in the morning approximately, the only thing that they could give us was a sandwich - unfortunately the sandwich was rather stale and frankly tasteless but nonetheless it was much welcomed. The gentlemen was very patient and welcomed us with a smile. He quickly showed us to our room, helped us find our way, assisted us with some enquires. The room at the hotel was great. Our room was very modern and spacious. Our maid was brilliant, she came in every day without a fail, cleaning the floor impeccable, taking out the rubbish, replacing the towels, and making our beds fantastically. The food was without a doubt amazing. Every single day, we had a plethora of choices to choose from. There was plenty of Greek or local specialities as well as international. In the Greek section there was occasionally Musaka, which was to die for, vine leaves, and some other typically Greek dishes. In the international area there were chips, sometimes lasagne, and other international dishes. Off cause there was salad. The salad was the most freshest and flavourful I’ve every had, it was fantastic. And, to be expected, there was the children’s area, which had chicken nuggets, chips and jelly. In the area surrounding the main pool (the pool nearest to the restaurant and main building) there was always plenty of deck chairs to choice from - when you were feeling you just had to go to the pizza shaft where they sold brilliant pizza in two flavours, ham and pineapple (this one was my favourite), and off cause the classic, margarita. At the bar, they had the most frothy, velvety hot chocolate, which every time I thoroughly enjoyed. Manos, who was one of the barmen, always was happy to chat - he always greeted you with a smile. At reception, they were always happy to help. They were happy to give you plain paper, and depending on who was on shift, a pen. Flora, who spoke absolutely brilliant English, had the most touching personality. Flora honestly made our holiday that much better that I would go just to see her again. She had the most softest voice. She is just a remarkable woman. Finally, but certainly not least, the supermarket, which had a surprisingly huge selection of products. It had everything you would possibly expect from an in house shop Cons: I don’t know if it was because she couldn’t speak English and found it hard to express herself, but our Maid was quite grumpy and didn’t have much of a personality. Even though, we put the no entry sign on, the lady opened the door with her special card and just said room service. The thing is, we could’ve been a sleep for as far as she knew. Lovely place, the room was decent size and clean, the staff really nice and friendly. There was a good variety of food,plenty of options for everyone's taste.Shout out to Maria from kitchen, her salads always looked and tasted so good, and Gabriela was so welcoming every time, making us feel like home. We really had a nice stay and we would love to return in the future.

A very nice hotel ... with very nice review on tripadvisor this year ...i want to say .. Very nice food first time my kid ask me ..if still exist the mounten chocolate towel morning .... The room was nice .. to far from restaurant but this wasnt problem ... we loved konstantinos over there .. super !!! The reception was great thank you flora ...always with smile ... We have just returned from the Olive Garden as a family (two adults and one young teenager) and have to say that we had a fantastic time. Everything was absolutely great. The food was of excellent quality and was delicious. It was clear from the signs what you were eating, if you were ever a bit unsure, and there was plenty of variety along with the lovely Greek dishes. We always looked forward to our meals, and the staff were absolutely tremendous. They always had a smile on their faces, and it was the same at the bar. Despite there only being one bar beside the pool, it was always very quiet and there was never a wait for a drink. Beer (local lager) and wine were both great quality for an all inclusive, as were both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. The pool was great, albeit a little cold, and there was plenty of fun to be had on the slides and the lazy river. The lifeguards were both attentive and friendly, often having a laugh with the kids and adults. Other activities included table tennis, tennis, volleyball etc. There was also football for a couple of days while we were there, although our teenage son was hoping for a little more. The football was held on the tennis court but perhaps the addition of a little football pitch somewhere at the resort is something the hotel could consider in the future, as there would be plenty of space for one. Entertainment was good for us. Karaoke nights and a quiz while we were there, put on by the entertainment team, but there was also a fantastic male guest musical trio who were absolutely tremendous. They had apparently been performing there every fortnight throughout the summer. The double room with pull-out bed was great. One of the beds (the pullout) was a little uncomfortable but it was no great issue. The cleaners were excellent and cleaned the rooms from top to bottom every day. The location is a little way outside of the local towns and villages but there is a regular bus service and a bus stop just a couple of minutes outside the hotel. Reception are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction. You can get to both Pefkos (about 10 mins away)and Lindos (about 20 mins away) for 1.80euro one way, and it was very easy to get about the beautiful local area by bus. We hired cabs to get back from both places, just to make life a little easier, but it probably would have been no issue had we decided to get the return bus instead. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. The quiet road outside the hotel takes you right to the end of the beach, which has quite a few rocks but is very shallow and is brilliant for snorkelling. We did this every day having bought equipment from the hotel shop (reasonably priced). The sea is also very warm (warmer than the pool, actually!) The beach to the left is very long and has plenty of padded sun loungers. It was very quiet when we were there, which was ideal for a peaceful break. Booked this as a last minute very cheap deal. It exceeded all expectations! Firstly the transfer time was only 1hr 20 with 6 stops before this one. It says 2hrs on jet 2 so this was a nice surprise. The weather for mid october has been absolutely perfect. No mosquitos, bareable to sit in and just right at night. The food / dining area is wonderful. Its not a cattle market like other all inclusives and is very well managed with indoor and outdoor seating. The food can be repetitive but thats what you expect for all inc. there is a pizza man 11-5 as many slices as you like and the bar is open all day. We have only been to the pool with the slides for the kids. This is open 10-5 with a break 1.30-2.30, this is a nice time to get dinner etc. the pool itself is nice and quiet no awful music blaring and there are enough sunbeds for everyone. There are 2 lifeguards on duty at all times. The rooms are small with older kids but manageable. For smaller kids im sure they are fine. They are clean, modern and have all the facilities you need. We had a lovely back view of the mountains and the goats. All in all its a lovely quiet and relaxing hotel and a nice change from some god awful all inclusives we have been too. I would really recommend for the price. The island is beautiful and there is a lot to see and do in the neighbouring villages. We’ll be back 😊 England family of 4, 2 kids (8 & 10)

The hotel is a great base for a family holiday. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are all very friendly and kind; couldn’t fault anyone. Even the pizza man was cheery ( and that was a surprise after reading some reviews 😂) It wasn’t noisy at night, and that suited us perfectly. A great choice of pools, to suit all ages, and the water park was a big hit with all ages. The food has been fantastic - the Greek dishes have all been delicious, and a superb range of fresh fruit and vegetables. And baklava every day - just perfect! We leave tomorrow, and will be sorry to go. Definitely recommend, and will definitely return. Thank you all for working so hard, to make your guests stay so enjoyable 😊 X
