There is no reception, and the landlord doesn't speak any English. We were only able to get in touch with her because a friendly Chinese guy helped us. It was also unclear where to go, as the rooms are spread across two buildings and multiple floors. The room was worn-out and partly not properly cleaned. When we entered, the landlord tried to quickly step on a crawling cockroach, hoping we wouldn’t notice it. The room we had booked was not available, so we had to check several others before finding one that was somewhat acceptable. The building itself is extremely old and dirty. Only the bed was clean, so staying here might be tolerable for just one night. Overall, avoid this "hotel"! Worst experience on our trip through China.

The location is good and easy to communicate host. The bed is clean. The cleanliness of kitchen cabinet and bathroom require more attention

A total rip-off. The room is filthy, with stains on the wall and blankets. There was urine in the toilet when we arrived. The room looks absolutely nothing like the photos. The hallways are dark, almost dirty, and not at all welcoming.

1. Second time to settle in, the price is not much increased during the Spring Festival, economical and affordable 2.60 square meters, large enough for a family, home furnishings are a bit simple 3. Almost no service. After staying for a week, no one cleaned the house. There was not enough paper towels and toothpaste. I had to call the customer service to refill them. 4. I heated milk in a simple pot. It smelled bad, then burned and tripped. Fortunately, someone came to fix it quickly. 5. The location is not close to the scenic spot, relatively quiet, and Metro Line 8 and 10 are nearby

The room was as large as shown on the platform, which is great value for money in Shanghai. It's actually not far from the subway station, but I had trouble finding my way around and ended up going in circles. It would have been much better if the host had provided more directions, such as indicating where the subway gate is right inside.

First, the hotel's location was incredibly difficult to find. After wandering around for ages, I didn't see any prominent signs or directions. Second, the pictures didn't match the actual room. The room type I checked into was different from the one listed on the website. The hotel initially tried to put me in a random room, but the price was different from what I'd paid for. I protested, and after discussing it with the hotel, they managed to make it look similar (though it still wasn't). Third, the ambiance was terrible. The smell of smoke was unbearable and even soaked our clothes (we even saw the fire alarm had been blocked with paper towels). The shoddy furniture, low-quality bedding, and run-down environment gave the impression that no one had paid attention to cleaning. In short, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

It's two stops away from Hongkou. It only takes about ten minutes to get there. There's a Kudi restaurant downstairs. The rooms are much bigger than those of a budget hotel. It's also convenient to take a taxi or order takeout. Although the building is a bit old, the elevator is quite fast.

The location is convenient, the room size is OK, this is a newly renovated room, the equipment is OK, but the shower room in the bathroom is a bit small and the water pressure is a bit low.
