The hotel's design is truly impressive, and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant also offered great dishes, and the views were absolutely stunning.

The biggest highlight of our stay at MGM was meeting the wonderful CiCi! The experience far exceeded our expectations. She reached out proactively before check-in to confirm our details, and during check-in, she thoroughly explained the hotel's layout so we wouldn't get lost. When I asked to store my luggage for half a day at the last minute, she handled it seamlessly and made the whole process quick and easy. When we asked for off-the-beaten-path recommendations in Shanghai, instead of just pointing us to the usual tourist traps and social media hotspots, she suggested much more authentic, local itineraries. Talking with her felt easy and natural—just like getting travel tips from a local friend, completely free of scripted hospitality clichés. CiCi's genuine, warm service added so much joy to this relaxing trip! The only minor bummer was that our room didn't come with a stationary bike!

My daughter came to Shanghai's West Bund for an exhibition during her holiday. After checking out nearby hotels, I found this one to offer the best value for money, so I booked it. Our stay was a fantastic experience; our room was even upgraded to a super spacious one that included fitness equipment. Opening the window, an unbeatable river view instantly met our eyes. The night view was even more spectacular!

On the day of check-out, I was in a bit of a rush and worried about a complicated process, but Guest Relations Zora proactively offered to help, and she was very efficient. The communication was comfortable, without any stiff formalities. The attention to detail truly reflects the hotel's high service standards, not just on the surface. Before I left, she genuinely asked about my stay. If I come back to Shanghai West Bund, I will definitely prioritize this hotel again. I recommend it to anyone traveling for business or leisure.

The hotel is new and has good facilities, which is why I booked it. However, the staff's attitude varied; some were polite, but not particularly attentive. To be honest, I didn't feel at home. The butler service was also only added on WeChat at my request, it wasn't proactively offered. The most unacceptable thing was that one room wasn't ready until around 5 PM on the day of check-in. The front desk proactively offered a late check-out for the next day to compensate. However, when I contacted the butler the next day, I was told that the king-size room given to us late could not have a late check-out because there were guests checking in afterward. Only the other twin room could get a late check-out. They also said that if the king-size room was vacated promptly at 12 PM, the other room could be extended until 2:30 PM, otherwise, it could only be extended until 1 PM. I found this quite ridiculous; it's very uncomfortable when you communicate with customers in a negotiating tone. Firstly, regarding the late check-out, the front desk's phrasing made us believe both rooms could be extended. If only one could, please state it clearly. Moreover, it's not appropriate for five of us to rest in one room, is it? Also, don't make decisions for the guests about which room should be extended. You constantly considered things from the hotel's perspective. What about the guests? Are their wishes not important? This kind of service philosophy is unacceptable. Spending over 4,000 for two rooms with this service attitude and experience makes me feel it wasn't worth it at all; I have some regrets. But I must say, my child did get the little lion toy they wanted, which was the only highlight.

The Shanghai West Bund MGM is a sufficiently new hotel. The lobby is on the 57th floor for check-in. The room is relatively new, and the mattress felt great, with excellent support, comparable to Shangri-La. The front desk staff were all very good; they even helped me ask if there was bubble tea at 3 PM and I was pleasantly surprised to get one of the limited 100 cups. I also easily got the small lion toy. All my requests were promptly attended to. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the MGM Grand West Bund with our child during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We were initially worried about crowds during the holiday, but Cici from guest relations called us in advance. Knowing we had a child, she arranged a quieter room type and waited for us in the lobby to guide us through the check-in process. The room was clean, odor-free, spacious, and all amenities were in perfect working order with stable hot water. The location is excellent, right outside you can explore the West Bund. Although the pool isn't large, it's very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to swim in, and the changing rooms are spacious. The adjacent gym is well-equipped, and working out with a high-rise view is incredibly motivating. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection; I particularly enjoyed the coffee with the hotel's logo, fresh squeezed juices, scallion oil noodles, and mini wontons. In the evening, we watched the moon and the river view from our window, enjoying a very relaxing Mid-Autumn Festival as a family. The environment, service, and views here are all top-notch; it's impressive to maintain such a high standard during a holiday. Highly recommended for families traveling with children, and special thanks to Cici.

I've been to Shanghai many times, but this time, staying at the MGM Cotai West Bund with my child, I unlocked a whole new Shanghai experience. The room was spacious and grand, full of design flair, with thoughtful details throughout. The amenities were exquisite, and the mini-bar was fully stocked with snacks and drinks. The iconic MGM lion plush toy was adorable, and my child absolutely loved it. The location is superb, right by the West Bund waterfront, making it easy to visit North Bund and Lujiazui along the way. The service was gentle and attentive, making the stay experience truly exceptional. This is definitely my top choice for traveling with kids; I'll choose it again next time I visit Shanghai ✨

The lobby is on the 57th floor, accessible from the hotel's ground floor, and you need to switch elevators to get to your room! This provides a high level of privacy and security!

The stay was excellent. The river view room offered a vast and wide vista. The room facilities were very comprehensive; the mini-bar was perfect for a small drink, and the large bathtub allowed for a good soak. The view from the rooftop pool was also quite nice.
