The hotel has a good location, convenient to go to most attractions. However, the flushing system of this hotel is not too good. There is constantly an unpleasant smell in the toilet area, especially the toilet bowl area. Although the manager changed rooms for us, this smell did not go away. Also, the soaps are not replaced each day, need to ask at the front desk.
This hotel has a washing machine and dryer, however, the dryer is not hot at all. Despite drying for an hour or more, the clothes are still wet. The room is pretty small even though it says 40m².
Feedback was given to the manager, he offered us breakfast, but there is not much options to choose.
Overall, it's not quite worth the high price. There are much better options to choose from with the same cost of this hotel.

Check-in was quick. My room was a bit far from the elevator, probably because it was a family room. The breakfast selection was limited, and the coffee and drinks could use some improvement. However, offering congee and dinner was a nice touch. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the subway station, which is super convenient. There are restaurants, McDonald's, Luckin Coffee, and more right outside the hotel. Since there's no air conditioning in winter, you can hear noise from the road and residential area outside. In my room, there was a small gap when the bathroom door was closed, which I think is a design flaw. But since it was a family stay, we didn't ask to switch rooms.

The hotel is in a prime downtown location, attracting many international guests. You can step right out of the hotel and reach Subway Exit 5. They offer a late-night diner with free congee, eggs, and side dishes. However, overall, the value for money is poor; it's not even as good as a budget hotel.
There are about a dozen steps from the front desk to the rooms. A slim male staff member proactively helped me with my luggage, which I appreciate. The front desk staff often chat and laugh among themselves but are quite indifferent to guests.
The hotel looks nicely decorated, but the hardware is terrible. The Simmons mattress had two body impressions, saggy on both sides. I managed to get through one night, and only after a staff member saw it the next day did they move me to another room.
The soundproofing is bad; you can hear everything. The air conditioning also had issues; it kept blowing hot air, and the thermostat didn't work.
Breakfast was a disappointment. It was full of pre-made dishes. Not to mention the buns and pastries, the pizza had a strange taste (see picture), and there was hardly anything appealing to choose from.

Excellent Stay! Highly Recommended.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room size was excellent. The cleanliness extended to the bathroom, which was also very well-maintained.
The location is very convenient for travel, especially being close to the Metro (Subway) station. The area around the hotel is fantastic, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores available, but it's not overly crowded, which I really appreciate.

The location is fantastic, right next to the subway entrance and very close to Huanghe Road. The front desk staff, especially a young man, was incredibly helpful and attentive. He even patiently helped us switch rooms due to a personal request. The room itself was clean and hygienic, equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, induction cooktop, and a smart toilet. The hotel location is right outside Xinzha Road train station. The downside is that I am unable to adjust the aircon temperature to heat as the front office said the function is not turned on yet. Have to jacket every night when sleeping.

Pros:
Excellent location, right next to Xinzha station on Line 2.
Smart rooms were a nice touch, with some amenities (e.g. curtains, TV) controllable by voice via 小度在家 (XiaoDuZaiJia Smart Display). Room is also equipped with smart toilet.
Bathtub is spacious, and water pressure in the shower is strong.
Mixed:
The 2 washing machines and 2 dryers seem to be overused for a relatively new hotel. There was often a crowd, and at times, piles of unwashed clothes left in the laundry room. Guests would remove other guests' laundry from the washers and dryers as soon as they finished.
The parcel management system could be more efficient. While I appreciate that the hotel helps receive parcels and take-out, the receptionists often took a long time to locate packages, even if they had just arrived. Unlike some other hotels, the staff doesn’t automatically deliver take-out via the robot, although you can request.
Cons:
Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but the biggest issue we encountered was on the last night when cigarette smoke smell started coming into our room. Despite closing the windows, the smell unexpectedly worsened. When my husband returned to the room after being out for a while, he also noticed the strong smell compared to the air outside the room. We contacted the front desk via WeChat, and a staff member came to inspect the room. He claimed not to smell cigarettes but mentioned that his nose might still be blocked from being sick. When asked for an air purifier, we were told they used to have them but not anymore, and that the 快递 (courier) had not arrived. The staff offered to move us to another room the next day if one became available, but we were checking out in the morning (and also highly doubt that the hotel was at full occupancy). When asked if the neighbouring rooms were smoking rooms, the staff said they would not know whether guests smoked in them. This was annoying since we were traveling with an infant and had specifically booked a non-smoking room. The staff only offered a diffuser to mask the smell, which does not address the real issue...
All in all, despite having an otherwise pleasant stay, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially with many other hotels in Shanghai and new ones popping up all the time.

Location is very good, metro is just at the side of the hotel. Nice clean room. Breakfast is nice and the services of the hotel is good. We really appreciate that the hotel allow us to check in early due to the early flight we have going to Shanghai. Overall we have a very pleasant stay. Recommended hotel for vacation.

Overall, it was okay stayed. The hotel was next to the subway station. If you plan to use this, every day may be good and convenient. If you prefer to walk around for sightseeing or reach more of the attraction areas, this is not the hotel. The hotel entrance was hard to find because many motor bikes parked right outside. The tree branch blocked part of the name. The room size was good, and the bed was comfortable. The cool thing was a voice-activated machine that can turn on/off everything for you. Unfortunately, it only speaks Mandarin. The receptionist was not that helpful and efficient. I asked for some hangers. They said they don't have it? When I tried the hair blow dryer, no heat came on. I called them to get me another one. The receptionist came to my room and tested it and told me that's working just didn't have heat? My hair was wet, and it was late. I suggested that he get one from a room that was vacant. He tried very hard to tell me to wait until the next day to take care of things for me. Of course, I can wait for the hangers but not the hair blow. Why did this receptionist make things so complicated.
