I appreciated the delivery lockers in the lobby, which made picking up food very convenient. The hotel's location is great for getting around, and overall, it offers excellent value for money. The location is excellent, very close to TaiKoo Hui, which is super convenient. Every day, I'd come out of the subway, browse the mall, and then head back to the hotel. The hotel design is simple and fresh, making for a comfortable stay. The room has two TVs, and screen casting is very easy. The service attitude is great; they contact you in advance to ask for arrival information and respond to questions promptly. Food deliveries can't be brought up to the room; they have to be left in the delivery locker on the first floor T_T. Thankfully, the hotel's own meals were plentiful and arrived quickly.

The entire hotel exudes a Southeast Asian Zen atmosphere, from the bamboo grove at the entrance to the vintage tuk-tuk details. It's like stepping from a bustling commercial district into a tranquil sanctuary. Seriously, the details and service are top-notch!

【Stay Experience | The Sukhothai Shanghai】 The location is excellent, right opposite the SMG building, and within walking distance of HKRI Taikoo Hui, Zhangyuan, and Wujiang Road commercial areas. It's super convenient for shopping and getting around. You can also pop into MUJI at Taikoo Hui B2. We stayed in a king-size room, which was a good size. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, and the thin duvet was very comfortable. The sofa area was spacious, perfect for our small family of four. The pool water was clean, and it wasn't crowded, so it was a good experience. Parking seems to be shared with Taikoo Hui, but we didn't drive this time. The breakfast selection was quite rich. The chef was friendly and proactively asked if I wanted noodles. I tried the abalone noodles with dressing, but I guess I'm just not used to that flavor. I saw a pancake station but couldn't find anyone making Thai pancakes, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the service attitude was acceptable, but it lacked initiative. We weren't offered drinks upon entering, and tables and cutlery weren't cleared promptly enough. The Tom Yum Goong soup for lunch was excellent and went very well with rice. However, the dishes were a bit pricey. The 188 RMB voucher from Trip.com came in handy, improving the value for money. Overall, it's a top choice for staying in the area, but there's room for improvement in the detailed service.
