Excellent value for budget conscious travellors. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was extra large with a large shower stall with new plumbing fixtures. They will also shuttle you back to the airport for free.

Great for 1-2 nights. The owner is very nice and accommodating. It is in a small village and there are food and a supermarket nearby. The transfer to the airport was great. I would use this again on my next stay.

They speak english only thru google translate. Some village house near the airport. Enough to stay for one night, but there is better and cheaper options near.

Friendly host, free airport shuttle, but on a busy road and air route. The road and aircraft noise does die down around 10pm though. Otherwise pleasant and good to be close to Pudong airport.

Water was leaking in the bathroom. Asked the hotel to arrange a bus transfer to the airport at 5 am but they say they couldn't do it. Eventually I left the hotel and went somewhere else to overnight

Horrible. :(
I chose this hotel because they offered a pickup service. They promised to pick me up from Pudong Airport BUT made me wait for almost 2 hours at midnight!
I kept calling but no one answered. I also contacted customer service, but they were of no help also because no one at hostel could pick up the call.
The hotel details did mention that they have a 24-hour front desk, but no one could pick up the call. I didn't call DiDi service because they all said it would start at 160 RMB, so I decided to wait. After 2.5 hours, i tried to contact customer support again, the hostel driver finally on the way to pick me up. But I had been waiting until early morning and was toooooo tired, so I refused, I chose to spend a lot of money and stay at the airport hotel instead. Of course, I never received any apology, NO APOLOGY FROM THIS HOTEL, and a refund was impossible because it was stated that there’s no refund after payment. Anyway, I’ll just consider myself unlucky for encountering this hostel. :(
