Yuexin Hotel (Shanghai Zhongshan Park Branch)

My actual stay far exceeded my expectations, so much so that after two nights, I extended it for another six. The room facilities were great, clean and tidy. The breakfast deserves special praise; while it might not look huge, it's incredibly comprehensive, even offering a noodle station where you can order small wontons and noodles. The pickled vegetable and bamboo shoot topping was absolutely delicious! The breakfast tea bags were excellent. One small detail that stood out for a standalone four-star hotel was having butter knives for the bread – a very thoughtful touch. I'll definitely be staying here again for an extended period. The only minor drawback is that the desk in the room is too small, and there's only one chair, which makes it hard to even set down takeout.

Facilities: The hotel's overall facilities are well-maintained. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Street view, with many eateries on Dingxi Road, and a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. Service: The staff are very polite.

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. A special shout-out to the front desk staff for upgrading our room to a larger bed since we were a family traveling together. There are indeed many great food options nearby, and the bagels at the hotel's ground floor coffee shop are also delicious. For getting around, it's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, which makes it very convenient to reach popular attractions like the Bund and Wukang Road.

I had a very comfortable stay this time. This 'light luxury' hotel is in an excellent location, making commuting and getting around super convenient. The room was well-maintained and spotlessly clean, and the hot water in the bathroom was consistently stable. The soundproofing was decent enough; I wasn't disturbed at night. The front desk staff were responsive, and the check-in/out process was simple and efficient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores downstairs, so finding food was easy. It doesn't have overly flashy amenities, but it's practical and reliable, making it a stress-free place to stay when traveling.

The room was very large and spacious, but it only had a bench and no sofa, and the table was a bit small. It made the room feel a bit empty and lacking warmth. However, you could sit by the bed and enjoy the sun. The bedding was all good. The front desk staff lacked smiles, but they provided all necessary services and even helped dry clothes, which was a plus. Overall, I'm generally satisfied.

I initially thought the location would be mediocre, but after checking in, I realized how incredibly convenient everything is around here. There are breakfast shops in the morning and a fresh market at night. A parcel pick-up point and a pharmacy are both within walking distance. You can easily get through your day without needing a car, which exceeded my expectations for convenience.

Very close to the Liu Haisu Art Museum, with many great restaurants nearby. The hotel service was excellent 👍 A good option for friends traveling together.

The room was incredibly spacious! The location is fantastic, with tons of food options right downstairs. You've got Lawson, FamilyMart, a fruit store, Starbucks, and even late-night snacks – everything you could possibly need! It was so convenient that I extended my stay for several days. Absolutely wonderful! The bed was also huge!!
