Maixinge Boutique Hotel ( Shanghai Lujiazui)

Very close to the shopping district. Although the hotel isn't brand new, it's very clean and quiet. Breakfast is also included.

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Very clean Environment: Pretty good, especially thoughtful. Welcome amenities on check-in day: The fruit and cookies were nice, and there's a coffee machine in the lobby.

This is my second stay here. It's really close to the metro station, which makes it super convenient to get to the Pudong Art Museum, the East Building of the Shanghai Museum, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. The room is on the smaller side but very clean, and the breakfast is decent.

The hotel's location is decent; it's a five-minute walk to the subway. Parking is free, but it's not directly under the hotel. You have to park in a lot across the street, which isn't super convenient. Breakfast was pretty good, though maybe because it was Chinese New Year and there were a lot of people, they struggled to replenish the food. If you came at the wrong time, there might not have been much left. Oh, and definitely avoid staying on the fifth floor – the soundproofing is terrible. You can clearly hear people walking around at breakfast on the sixth floor in the mornings. On the bright side, they gave us a souvenir when we checked out!

This hotel is clean and tidy, with an excellent location that makes getting around very convenient. The price is also very reasonable, offering great value for money overall.
