We were quite disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We booked a standard room, which is usually not a problem for us, but the reality was very different from what was presented online.
First, the building shown in the pictures gives the impression that it is entirely the hotel. In reality, it is a larger building that also contains offices and other facilities. The hotel entrance and lobby were not very welcoming, and there was no security or reception control before accessing the floors.
When we entered our first room, we immediately noticed a serious problem: there was mold on several walls. We also heard strange water dripping sounds coming from inside the walls, which was quite concerning. The room had a very small window placed very high on the wall, and there was no real view outside.
We reported the issue to the reception, who provided us with another room. However, we had to pay an additional €45 to change rooms. The second room was better and did not have the same visible mold problem, but it still had several issues.
The room was located near a metro line. Although we could not clearly hear the trains, we could feel the vibrations of the metro throughout the room. The sound insulation was also very poor: we could clearly hear traffic, cars, horns, and other outside noises.
We stayed for seven nights and, unfortunately, the cleaning service was not satisfactory. The room was not properly cleaned during our stay. The bed was only quickly rearranged, the trash was emptied, but the floor and bathroom were not properly cleaned.
Another important issue was the non-smoking policy. We specifically chose a non-smoking room. However, on several evenings, there was a very strong cigarette smell in the room. We even had to ask the reception for air freshener because the smell was so strong.
Overall, the condition of the rooms, the lack of cleanliness, the noise, and the cigarette smells made our stay disappointing.
