Hotel is clean . Located close to railway station and subway. Front desk is helpful and kind. Luggage storage for free. Night snack, bar with beverages for free. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Shanghai Jing'an district. I Loved my stay.

The hotel was conveniently located to everything I attended. The hotel was clean. I asked for a steamer and the hotel delivered one to my room. They have several bottles of water in the room. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get out of bed for breakfast. I Soto’s definitely stay here again

Pros: Located within 7-10mins walk to Shanghai Railway Station if you're planning to go Suzhou, and just opposite is an office building with a few eateries, pub, and simple convenient store. Externally the hotel looks very old but room itself seems recently refurbished and very clean. Overall a pleasant stay with kids.
Cons: It's the quieter side of Jing'An so there's nothing else within walking distance but can DiDi car to the happening side of Jing'An 10-15mins away. If you DiDi do note that most drivers may miss the turning into the hotel lobby and wait for you along the main road.
Summary: Overall hotel is good and very clean and is just beside the train station. Location wise is 10-15mins away from the main Jing'An area by car. It is priced fairly. But if you have bigger budget and would enjoy more shopping, food, drinking etc then staying nearer to main Jing'An might be wiser.

Fantastic new hotel to stay in. Style of room, cleanliness and overall experience was above expectations. Price very reasonable.
Staff were helpful, professional and courteous.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our China trip - me returning and his first trip - and stayed again for the remainder of our stay in Shanghai because it was such a great experience.
Would definitely recommend for international and domestic guests alike.

One of the finest brand new hotels in town
It was a good experience since it was my first time traveling to Shanghai. I did not expect much, but I was overwhelmed with the extra care from staff, as well as the room upgrade. Overall, the hotel was brand-new.
The breakfast was too good for anyone, whether you are a Muslim or from any other religion. They were very helpful in ensuring that everyone from all around the world could be catered to in the best way. They had a big selection of fruits, a very large bakery, a good side salad bar, and plenty of food that any religious people could eat, such as fried shrimp, rice, and the omelet in the morning was just amazing.
I really had a good time. I stayed here for five nights and I do intend to travel back again. The endless food that I got from the head staff, Mr. Rogers, was really nice and we could only thank him. We do plan to visit Shanghai again and stay in the same hotel. It was conveniently located and it is going to be one of my go-to places in Shanghai in the coming times.
