Shanghai Pearl Hotel

The location is great, very convenient for getting to the hospital for appointments. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is large and comfortable. I've stayed here multiple times.

For this business trip, I still chose the Pearl Hotel, though this time the room was a bit smaller. The breakfast was still good, and its proximity to my workplace and the nearby subway station is very convenient.

Conveniently located right by the subway, making commuting a breeze! The room was quiet, with soft lighting perfect for working, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Hot water was instant and consistent. Check-in/check-out was efficient with no waiting, and the front desk staff were professional and courteous. The breakfast offered a wide variety of nutritious options. Definitely my top choice for business travel—a perfect experience!

The hotel isn't new, but the facilities are well-maintained. The hotel is very clean, and I especially appreciate the disinfected non-slip mat in the bathroom – a great detail! The bedding is comfortable, and it's nice that the windows can open for ventilation. However, the air conditioning temperature is hard to control, making the room a bit too warm and stuffy. The service was excellent; I met a young man with curly hair in the elevator who, after learning I was looking for a map, personally delivered it to my room.

On a business trip, a friend from my hometown came to Shanghai for an exhibition and stayed with me for two nights. The cleanliness, service, and bathrooms were all excellent, and the staff were very friendly. My friend found the mattress a bit firm, but I didn't personally find it an issue. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The dining area was spacious, bright, and stylish. They offered a wide variety of dishes made with fresh, lightly prepared ingredients, including plenty of green vegetables. I highly recommend the cold dishes, stir-fried greens, and beef ramen. The desserts, especially the almond tart and mousse, were delicious – low in oil and sugar, yet still incredibly flavorful and not bland. The attention to detail was impeccable. This will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Shanghai!
