Holiday Inn Express Shanghai on the Bund by IHG

I booked this room last minute and didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The front desk staff were very polite and warm, not just going through the motions. All the staff were friendly and gave me practical advice when I asked about routes to nearby attractions. The room was meticulously cleaned, showing great attention to detail. Plus, it's super close to the subway station, making transportation very convenient. You can even walk to the Bund, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel's location is excellent. I found it based on its proximity to my business meeting this time. It's a superb location, great for both business and leisure travelers. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I heard it's a new version of the Holiday Inn Express. Highly recommended!

As expected from an international chain, the environment, hygiene, and service are all excellent. As an I member, I even received a fruit platter. The Bund is just a short walk away. Being a newly opened hotel, the facilities are very new and seem to be the latest version, much better than other Holiday Inn Express locations. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the room has excellent natural light, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

The location is incredibly convenient, close to attractions like the Bund and Chenghuang Temple, all within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding felt great against the skin, and the facilities were complete. The front desk service was warm and responsive to guest needs. I'd highly recommend it to friends traveling.

This hotel is super convenient, right across from Yu Garden, and close to the Bund with a sightseeing bus stop nearby. What really stood out was the amazing front desk lady who helped us check in. Even with an interior-facing window, it didn't affect our stay experience at all.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right across from Yuyuan Garden Metro Station Exit 7, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can also walk to Yuyuan Garden, the City God Temple, and the Bund. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Front desk staff member Y provided thoughtful and attentive service. My child lost a fan at breakfast and only remembered it that evening. They went to the front desk to ask about it, and within a short while, it was found and delivered to our room. While the fan wasn't valuable, my child loved it and was overjoyed to have it back. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly; they always greeted us with a smile, which brightened our day!

Annie, Petter, and Clover at the front desk were incredibly attentive. They helped us with umbrellas and luggage storage, which was a lifesaver as we experienced a typhoon and couldn't go out. However, the night view from our window was absolutely stunning! We could enjoy the 'three-piece set' (likely referring to iconic buildings) and the Oriental Pearl Tower without even leaving the room, thanks to the fantastic location. The room itself was smart and very clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a clothesline in the shower area. There's also a free laundry room, and even though there was a bit of a queue, it was super convenient for summer business travel. The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to Chenghuang Temple, Yu Garden, The Bund, and Nanjing Road if you're not too lazy. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend! There's a Spanish restaurant on The Bund that I'd recommend; it's delicious.
