Facilities: The hardware is really good. I used to stay at Marriott hotels when traveling, and this is my first time at Atour. Although the hotel isn't large, apart from its size, everything else is on par with those big-brand international hotels. The breakfast is rich and very kid-friendly. Service: The ladies at the front desk are all very enthusiastic. I'll continue to choose Atour for future trips. Environment: The location is excellent. It's just across the road from Yuyuan Metro Station, and the Bund is only a few minutes' walk away.

I had a very comfortable stay; the pillows were great. The hotel is new, clean, and tidy, and the room was well-ventilated with no strange odors. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Yu Garden, and it's an easy walk to the Bund. There are also tons of restaurants nearby. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

The hotel service was excellent and it was very clean. The lobby outside is quite spacious, perfect for relaxing or even having some takeout. The room was also nice, and the pillows were super comfortable! Overall, the experience was great, and the location is good too, making it convenient for getting around.

Nice and new hotel. Location is good with many food options around, can easily walk to yuyuan too. Water pressure is good, makes showering really enjoyable!

1. The location is excellent. Yu Garden metro station (Line 10 & 14, Exit 7) is directly opposite (to the right of the hotel), and next door is the Holiday Inn hotel. Across the street, there are shops like Xiao Yang Sheng Jian, Cha Bai Dao, and Family Mart. It's also very close to the Bund; picture one shows the hotel with the Oriental Pearl Tower in the background. 2. The breakfast is quite good, with an auntie preparing noodles (wontons/scallion oil noodles/clear broth noodles), and there are also their own specialty breakfast items (see picture two). From 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, there's free late-night supper (millet porridge & red bean porridge) and some buns, though the buns were just okay. 3. The room is stocked with Atour's own tea, Nongfu Spring bottled water, and soda, all free of charge. 4. Diagonally opposite is Yu Garden Bazaar (pictures three to eight), where you can spend a long time browsing. It's very lively at night, with Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant and Miniso, and you can also buy local products as souvenirs, which is very convenient. 5. There are four washing machines and four dryers. You can ask them to wash or dry your laundry and deliver it to your room. I almost always brought my laundry down myself in the evening, left a note asking them to dry it, and by the next morning, my clean clothes were hanging at my door! There's also an iron available in the laundry room, and a gym next door. 6. As someone who loves to read, I really enjoyed the lobby's design. There's the gentle sound of flowing water, and you can borrow books 📚 to enrich your mind. Sometimes, I couldn't finish a book in the lobby and brought it back to my room. I heard that members can even borrow books and return them to any Atour hotel, something I haven't tried but might in the future. 7. The hairdryer is a Laifen, even more powerful than Dyson, so washing my hair daily in winter is not an issue ❤️. 8. The cleaning staff and front desk personnel (especially the young ladies) provide excellent service. 9. You can have packages delivered in advance, and the front desk will sign for them, but it's not recommended to send too many. ***In Shanghai, as long as you're near a subway station, getting around is very convenient. For taking the subway, foreigners can use WeChat Pay. Because of this, I would definitely stay here again next time! 👍🏻

The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. Watching the city lights at night, feeling each other's company, that feeling was truly incomparable. The hotel's location is also excellent, with many great restaurants and fun places nearby, making getting around super convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit and will recommend it to my friends. 💕

I booked this room a long time ago for the Shanghai Marathon. The hotel is located right opposite the City God Temple, and the night view there is truly beautiful. The room was very clean, and the Atour bedding was so comfortable 😌. The shampoo was also great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Excellent service and super responsive staff. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. I also love that the hotel provides complimentary laundry service — such a thoughtful touch. We booked a windowless room, but I really appreciate the creative design where they built an “internal courtyard” view. It made the room feel much brighter and more comfortable. Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended!

The location is fantastic! It's right across a small street from the subway exit, and Yuyuan Garden is directly opposite. You can easily take the subway to the 'Big Three' attractions, and the Bund is just a short walk away, offering stunning views. Even though I visited 7 years ago, Shanghai's development and charm still manage to awe me. Nanjing West Road, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Xintiandi – there's endless shopping and exploring. And the delicious Cakes and Hash pastries really won me over. The hotel room isn't small, and the shower pressure is excellent. However, the air conditioning seemed a bit off. It got colder during my stay, and the room was a bit chilly, with the heating barely making a difference. I hope the hotel staff can check it, as the weather is getting cooler, and future guests will likely need the heating.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Yu Garden. It's also very close to the popular internet-famous restaurant, Warehouse No. 3, which is right outside Yu Garden. You can spot the hotel as soon as you exit Yu Garden Metro Station, Exit 7. However, the main entrance isn't directly facing the subway; it's next to the Holiday Inn. You'll need to take the hotel's dedicated elevator up to the third floor. The service at the hotel is great. Every night, they offer late-night congee, which is millet congee and tremella soup, along with some small side dishes and pastries – very heartwarming. There's a dog downstairs, presumably owned by someone in a nearby unit, and it can be a bit noisy sometimes.

This stay was incredibly satisfying. From check-in to check-out, I experienced warm service, and the hotel's amenities are very comprehensive! The transportation is also super convenient! It's just a 5-minute walk to Yu Garden and the City God Temple, and only 7-8 minutes to the Bund. Getting to Wukang Road is a breeze too, with direct access via Metro Line 10 – perfect for those who don't like walking! The hotel breakfast is rich and varied, and the scallion oil noodles were delicious! The 9:30 PM supper was also excellent, offering different congees, side dishes, and pastries! Plus, the front desk lady was incredibly nice – she helped me with directions and immediately resolved any issues. I'll definitely choose Atour Hotel Yu Garden again on my next visit!

The WiFi is not functioning despite being able to connect , we have to use own roaming service to connect however the lines are also very weak. Access card unable to connect to laundry room & gym and have to get reception to help each time we want to enter laundry room or use the toilet in 3rd floor Saw no smoking sign on lift area however not sure is it applicable to the rooms as spotted other room guests were smoking in room

The front desk service was warm and welcoming. We were offered tea upon check-in and given warm water upon departure, which was a lovely touch. The late-night congee service was also very thoughtful. The breakfast was a rich mix of Western and Chinese options and tasted great. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and smelled fresh, with comfortable bedding. The staff provided excellent service, even delivering our laundered clothes to the room. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.
