Great deal for this price and Peter is a great great and very attentive host !

The place was really great. Clean and bright room. Host spoke good English. Location was right next to subway station.

It was a pretty nice place with a really good location. Nice way to see what living in an apartment in shanghai would be like.

I stayed here 2 months as a solo female traveler and had a decent experience. First off: Peter was WONDERFUL! He was so extremely helpful and keen that I should have a good time and I am really grateful for his attentive and kind communication. There is a large construction going on right by the building (and it will continue through Dec 2025) so there is noise every day from ca 09:00 to 22:00 (at the latest). Peter helped me change rooms immediately to one that was facing the courtyard, which was better (but lets face it, the noise is still there so if you want peace and quiet, this isnt it). In addition there were repair within the building too when I stayed - of course this is not to the fault of anyone. ** Pros: location is close to 2 metro lines, 2 shopping centres. Its very convenient to get most places and close to SHA airport (Pudong is further off). The security is good. The garbage station is open most of the day. They offered change of sheets and towels weekly which was great. **Cons: the rooms are a bit old so there is a smell, I also was unlucky that the previous guest had smoked despite it being forbidden. Saw a cockroach once (but never again - be careful to throw away garbage quickly) and also the doors are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors in the corridors. Rooms are "surface" clean but not deep clean, so if you like squeaky clean like me you have to get your own materials. There is definitely buildup. Overall it was a decent stay, and I left with a good feeling thanks to Peter and the nice staff there! Thanks!

Great location super close to lines 13 and 7. The room was spacious and comfortable. The host Peter made the stay amazing: he was responsive, helpful, and accommodating and went out of his way to make me comfortable. Thank you, Peter!

The owner went all the way to contact us few days prior to make sure that we know of where and how to get there, very reassuring :D The room is very homey, and the amenities are useful. Albeit there's some cracks on the wall, but it's not concerning in any way. Worthed for the price, will come again

Solid choice a little out the way

The location is close to the metro, and the owner is very helpful and friendly. The room is large, a studio apartment with a small kitchenette and a washing machine. If you're looking for simple, independent accommodation, this is the place to stay. A few small renovations would improve its value.

Convenient transportation🚗The location of the apartment is easy to find. The nearest Jiangning Road subway station is within 5 minutes' walk. There are also many shops around, so it is convenient to buy things. The room is comfortable🛏 The environment is clean and tidy, the light is bright, and all the daily necessities you need are available. Full marks for service💯 The landlord is warm and considerate, will provide transportation guidance and travel recommendations, can communicate and solve problems in time, and will help to temporarily store luggage. Overall, I am very satisfied! I will come again next time I have the opportunity to come to Shanghai~

Spacious serviced apartments near the tourist center - most of them are a few stops away by metro, and the Jade Buddha Temple is visible from the window - across the road opposite. Large comfortable bed, good bed linen, excellent desk with chair. All formats of electrical outlets are available. Thick curtains + blinds. Internet for online conferences and watching videos is normal. I liked the combination lock - it's convenient! I would add light power - it's dark in the room in the evening. The outlet next to the bed does not work, so the bedside lamp cannot be turned on. Peter - meets, checks in, explains - friendly, polite and available on WhatsApp! Recommendation: make instructions in English for household appliances - the translator does not always cope. For example, it was difficult to figure out the air conditioner. I lowered the rating for superficial cleaning and for the fact that every time you need to contact them to do it or redo it, because the result is not visible. The staff does not know how to clean: does not wash under the furniture, does not wash the corners, does not wipe the dust. I lived there for 5 weeks, so it was sensitive for me. Due to the fact that there has been no repair for a long time and poor cleaning (the windows are also dirty), the apartments have a sloppy appearance, which is a pity, because the place is good and the apartment was furnished with love and attention to detail. There is no iron, only a steamer. Overall, the impression is positive, suitable for living both for a few days and for a long term!

The bedsheets had holes in them and the tabletops were dusty, as if they hadn't been wiped. Checking in was also a bit of a hassle, as it was self-service. The only good thing was that there was a refrigerator, so you could put your things in to keep them cold. In short, I won't stay at this B&B again.
