Mercure Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Exhibition and Convention Center)

Convenient location, not far from the subway station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious with comfortable mattresses. The breakfast selection is extensive and delicious, and my kids loved the robot delivery service.

The hotel is very close to the convention center for concerts, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and then only two stops away. It was super convenient to go to the convention center early in the morning, and when I got tired, I could pop back to the hotel to rest before heading back out for the concert in the evening. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the blackout curtains were great. There were also complimentary drinks in the room. The lady at the front desk even proactively upgraded us to a room with a window and sunlight, which was incredibly thoughtful. The lobby offered free candy, sour plum soup, and lemon Sprite water, which was perfect for the current weather. It would be even better if the shower stall had a few small hooks for hanging clothes.

I came for an exhibition at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. It's a 5-minute walk from the National Accounting Institute subway station (I prefer walking and didn't have much luggage). Take exit 2, turn right at the intersection, and walk straight past one traffic light. This hotel is perfect for business travelers attending events near the NECC. I arrived early in the morning, intending to just store my luggage at the front desk. To my surprise, they allowed me to check in immediately and proactively offered toiletries. They even extended my check-out time to 2 PM the next day. I suffer from severe rhinitis and brought allergy medicine, but to my absolute astonishment, the room was excellent – no strange odors, no allergies at all. This was a very, very pleasant surprise. There's some construction nearby, but it was very quiet at night, no noise whatsoever. There's a small garden on the first floor, suitable for families with children or anyone who wants a quiet place to sit. In the evening, you can walk to Panlong Tiandi. Just walk along the road outside the hotel, cross the overpass, and you're there. Under the overpass is the famous Virginia creeper photo spot – don't miss it! If you go early, you can get some great pictures!

Extremely close to Hongqiao High-Speed Railway Station and the metro, which is super convenient. There are also shopping centers nearby for dining. The service was excellent; they provided kids' toothbrushes, and a robot can deliver meals. They even upgraded my room for free! I'll definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was plentiful, and the laundry facilities with a dryer were very convenient. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. This hotel is very close to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), with a taxi ride costing only about ten yuan. It's also not far from the subway.

Excellent! They didn't rush me to check out even though I accidentally stayed past noon. The service was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the duvet was spotless. The restaurant area is also a convenient spot to sit around during the day!

The room was great and the service was excellent. There's a small gym. It would be even better if adults could also get a small gift for finishing their breakfast plates.

The location is great, very close to Panlong Xintiandi, the National Exhibition and Convention Center, and Hongqiao Airport. Compared to other Mercure hotels, this one offers extra cookies in the fridge and features Shanghai-style拌面 (bàn miàn, a type of mixed noodles) for breakfast. The other Western breakfast pastries also seem tastier than those I've had at the Mercure in Chongqing.
