Great value for money and convenient transportation. It was quiet for sleeping, and check-in was quick. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. I only stayed for one night due to an unexpected event, but I had a very good experience. Recommended.

Service was quick check-in . Front desk changed the a/c batteries quickly. There was a smell was in my room. She said”I know “ . Is that expected? Budget hotel I guess - no soap or toothbrush given . Look for the number address or may be hard to find . KTV sign on the left is the elevator to the hotel

(+) I liked this budget hotel. The location is perfect! McDonald’s, KFC, Family Mart and Lawson is nearby as well as the Jing’an Temple and other nice places. The room is not big, but the view from the window was very good! Bed is very convenient and clean. (-) The carpet in the hotel hall is very dirty. No water provided. 2 small towels only. No washing machine, no refrigerator. But the room is small, so no place enough for that. And the price is good for such room. But generally I enjoyed my stay in this hotel!

Box Inn is a cheep hotel in Jingaan area, nothing fancy, not much to expect, good location. Good cleanliness, surprisingly quiet room, nice an friendly hotel staff. Just two small hand towels were provided, toothbrush and so on can be obtained at the reception

Small room as advertised. Room was clean and location is good. KFC, MAC, Family Mart nearby. Metro station is also very close (Line 7 Changing Road). No big towels 😞 + no drinking water 😞.

I really liked this hotel as the room was ideal for a short stay, from 1 night to around a week. The room has everything you need from shampoos to hair dryers to mirrors. The room was cosy with well functioning AC and good bedding. The location was the also great, so central to main shopping areas of shanghai. Can easily walk to Xintiandi or to Middle Huaihai road. Staff were friendly and nice. If you have struggles finding this it may be because on maps it’s called the Box Inn rather than Boke Inn. You’ll arrive at the bottom of two elevators. Take the elevator on the left to the 6th floor to reach reception.
