The rooms have a lovely home-away-from-home vibe, and the service is incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The food quality is excellent, and the gym is well-maintained. I'll definitely be back!

The Bvlgari is truly the pinnacle of luxury hotels in Shanghai! The room was spacious and bright, and the butler's introduction was very detailed. They even gave me a Bvlgari Shanghai luggage tag, which matches my suitcase perfectly, haha! I've already recommended it to my friends.

The bedding at Bulgari is definitely the most pleasant surprise; I've been dreaming about it since my last stay. The nightly 'goodnight tea' delivered in a thermos is also a major highlight – such a thoughtful touch. And breakfast? The set menu is absolutely delightful, especially when you're enjoying it with that incredible, unbeatable river view. I just loved it.

A very satisfying stay. Check-in was swift, especially thanks to Cecilia who was incredibly patient and helpful with all our questions. The room service was excellent; they kept the room tidy and were attentive to our needs. The soundproofing was also great. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Shanghainese specialties and Western options. Dining in the room with a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower made the trip truly worthwhile.

I booked a room with a Bund view, but it was slightly different from what I imagined. I was expecting a direct view of the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers), but they were actually off in the corner of the room. Still, it was acceptable. The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, truly excellent. The spa was incredibly relaxing and highly recommended. The caviar for afternoon tea was very generous, though they were a bit stingy with the champagne 🫢. The Italian restaurant is highly recommended; they were so attentive to me since I was dining alone. You can tell the room is a bit older, but it's generally very well-maintained. The closet was too dark though, I couldn't see anything! 😂 The welcome amenities were lovely, and they even gave me a luggage tag with my name on it. Thank you!

I'd heard about the personalized luggage tags at the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai for a while, so on my first stay, I specifically asked about them. The front desk service was incredibly attentive. I especially want to thank 🙏 Karl for his help; he made our entire stay feel very personal. After learning it was my girlfriend's and my anniversary, he even helped arrange an anniversary setup. How could such thoughtful, human-centered service not make guests feel right at home? Service: Absolutely outstanding service, a true industry leader. Much better than some other hotels in the same category.

Our anniversary stay at the Bvlgari Hotel has become a brilliant chapter in our memories. My sincere thanks to Karl for his thoughtful arrangements, from the surprise suite upgrade, the rich welcome coffee and delicious chocolate cake, to the delightful Christmas room decorations – every gesture made us feel truly valued. The next day, he even kindly coordinated a late check-out for us, allowing our departure to be unhurried. As we left, Zhang Bingwen's warm farewell, proactive assistance with our luggage, and heartfelt good wishes completed this consistently wonderful service that touched us deeply. We look forward to returning again.

This Christmas, I chose to staycation at the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai for two nights, opting for a room with a Bund view. The view was a bit angled, though; for a better perspective, one should probably choose a premium room. Since it was Christmas, the hotel had a wonderfully festive atmosphere. The staff were all very warm and professional. Cecilia from the concierge team was particularly enthusiastic and generous, responding to requests promptly. During our stay, we also received complimentary apples, chocolates, and panettone, which added to the Christmas spirit. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. During my stay, I only visited the bar on the 47th floor and Bao Li Xuan. Due to the high number of guests at the time, I couldn't book a very suitable time or table. As an in-house guest, not being able to just walk in was a bit inconvenient, but the ambiance, food, and drinks were excellent. I even had a shot with the bartender. Breakfast could be delivered to the room, but it was quite simple – better than nothing, I suppose. The gym was a bit small, and the equipment wasn't very comprehensive, which might not be ideal for guests who require strength training. However, the trainer proactively brought towels, water, bananas, and nuts, and even offered a weightlifting belt or assistance for training, which was a nice touch. The hotel doesn't have a dedicated smoking area. I ended up smoking a cigar on the terrace of Bao Li Xuan. It was cold without sunshine in winter, but a staff member thoughtfully brought an ashtray, which was appreciated. The minibar had a wide variety of small items, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, it was a satisfying experience.

Came back to stay at Bulgari again! This time, our butler Joanna was incredibly attentive and friendly. Bulgari truly offers the most emotional value among luxury hotels. While it's true you get what you pay for, the overall experience was simply delightful.

The service of one particular staff member significantly brought down my overall impression of the hotel. The man in the picture perfectly exemplifies the kind of fake professionalism that translates to poor service. I called to have my takeout delivered to the room, but was told it would take 20 minutes. Thinking they might be short-staffed, I went down to pick it up myself. When I got there, I asked this man where the takeout lockers were, and he, with a deadpan expression, told me to wait a moment. The lockers were literally right to his left. He could have easily just glanced up and pointed in the few seconds he was speaking, but he just talked without bothering to gesture. It might seem like a minor incident, but it clearly shows that this employee is someone who takes advantage of their position, acting important while not actually doing their job. I hope the hotel strengthens its training for staff on internal qualities. There's a big difference between genuine service and feigned professionalism.

Staying at the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai was an absolutely top-tier experience, a definite five-star! The hotel is nestled in Jing'an, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling city. The Italian luxury decor combined with artistic displays exudes sophistication in every detail. The pool has excellent water quality and a comfortable temperature, and its design feels very upscale, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The guest rooms are equipped with smart facilities, high-end toiletries, and comfortable bedding, ensuring maximum comfort. The service from Concierge Cecilia was simply textbook-perfect. She proactively helped with luggage, guided me through check-in with a smile, patiently explained the facilities, and efficiently coordinated my reservation requests. She was incredibly attentive and answered every question I had. Upon departure, I even received a small gift from the hotel, which was a wonderful surprise and a warm gesture. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring a rich variety of Chinese, Western, and Japanese options. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was excellent, with the freshly made Italian coffee and desserts being particularly outstanding. The overall experience was simply flawless.

The service was very professional, the pool was comfortable, and the room had a great view. A special shout-out to Cecilia for being so thoughtful and attentive – she really deserves praise. I'll definitely choose this place again next time.
