JI Hotel (Shanghai Bund Tiantong Road) Reviews

Strategic, 1 station away from Nanjing East Pedestrian Street metro station. Front desk crew is good, they are supportive to help me with room change request. The guests need to be educated. Though it's a non-smoking hotel, you can smell the cigarettes at some of the areas.

The location of the hotel is strategic beside the subway station. They just need to improve the English skill of hotel receptions and hotel staff

The hotel is at the best location if you use metro. Tianthong road stop and exit #3 will take you directly to the door. The room is spacious too.

The hotel has an excellent location, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and even assisted with receiving packages, which made the stay even easier.

Highly recommend. Good place to stay with friends and family👍🏻

Location of the hotel is excellent. Near to MRT station that is the entrance just next door of it. Hotel staffs are helpful and well mannered. Will go back again.

It's a super plus point the hotel is right next to Tian tong Exit 3. Stay is pretty good and the clean and love the amount of water given in the room. Plus free laundry and dryer which is always crowded. Breakfast spread is good too at affordable price. We walked from nanjing east Rd back to hotel so convenient! Only thing it doesn't have lobby so need to pick up cab and drop off by road side without shade.

Pls note that the hotel is old and lobby is undergoing renovation. The room is clean but rather the rundown. location is ideal as it's just beside the metro station. I suggest you give this hotel a miss until they are done with the renovation. We booked 2 room and my kids room smelled of cigarettes. ( It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel) We were thankful that the staff got us another room but of smaller size . Stayed on 14 June 2025

Very near to East Nanjing Road. Located at the train station. Highly recommended.

the hotel is great!!! for its price!!! service from recep was good! my 2 fave part is that 1. laundry is free!!! washing machine and dryers are free and comes w laundry detergent!!!! 2. the mrt station is right at the entrance of the hotel. SUPER LOVE! only downside is that there’s no table for eating if u wanna order in, so we could only use the small small counter where they placed the free water

It was an excellent choice of accommodation that we picked. Strategically located at line 10 with an elevator right next to it. Also, there is Lawson across the street and a local biscuit store and a Starbucks beside it. The room is also very spacious and the hotel staff is very friendly. Amenities is also provided with 4 bottles of water and you can ask for more if you needed it at the hotel lobby. Would return again for sure if I am ever back to the city in the future.

Really loved our hotel, with the best part being its proximity to Tiantong Road metro station (hotel located right next to it). It’s also located around 1km from Nanjing East road and about 1.5-2km away from the bund so my partner and I took convenient nightly walks there without any issue. There’s also a Mac’s and yangguofu malatang in the mall next to it if you’re too tired to travel out of the area for a quick meal. The one small issue I had was the in-built hairdryer making quite a bit of noise after prolonged use (full blast setting for more than 5 min). But otherwise the room was great, clean and very spacious. Shampoo and body wash are provided in the bathroom. Toothbrush I think is available upon request (we got it upon check-in). The staff were also excellent in their service and happy to accommodate our questions and requests. Hotel breakfast was awesome too but they’re limited in western options (their Asian food variety was much better). Overall really recommend 👌🏻

Location was good but service was just ok. Parcel delivery was inconvenient and not systematic. Customers had to personally go to the mail room to dig up their parcels from 100s of other parcels.

Walking distance to Nanjing road, near to all shops and metro, very convenient and love to stay there. Definitely recommend who first time in Shanghai!
