The location is excellent, right across from the subway entrance, making it super convenient to get around. There are lots of shops nearby, including KFC and Luckin Coffee right in the subway station, and a whole street of local snacks next door. The hotel requires a key card to access the upper floors, which is great for privacy. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin, so you can hear some noise from next door at night. But honestly, most hotels have this issue, and this one isn't too bad. The room size is decent, and it has all the necessary furnishings, so you could easily stay for a week. The service is also excellent; the robot delivers food almost as soon as it arrives. If you need extra water, towels, or tissues, the staff brings them over promptly. The front desk staff is quick to check people in; even when it's busy and you have to wait a little, they get to you almost immediately. Staff member #9 was especially friendly and even gave me a fluffy keychain ❤️ The lobby is very spacious, which is a nice touch – you can easily find a spot to sit and wait when calling a taxi.

Our one-night stay was quite a hassle. First, the window in the room we were given couldn't close, and the faucet clearly had some unclean residue on it. After switching rooms, the outside of the window was still dirty, and we had to ask a staff member to wipe down the dirty luggage rack. Then there was a power outage for an hour in the middle of the night. At 9:30 AM, the manager called to ask if we still wanted breakfast, even though I was woken up by his call – why would I want to eat leftover breakfast? And then, around 10 AM, drilling noises started again. I'm giving 3 points to the front desk staff who kept calling to apologize. Given your manager's attitude, even 1 point is too much.

I chose this place because of its convenient location. Since my child is under 18 and wasn't accompanied by a guardian, we needed the local police to verify our information during check-in. I wonder if this was due to the Shi Tuan concert. Last time I complained about the cigarette smell, and it seems to have improved, but there's still a musty odor. Oh well, it's just for one night, so it doesn't really matter.

The room environment is exceptionally good, and the service attitude is also excellent.

The room was quite small, and two hotels were operating together. It would be acceptable for 250 during the off-season, but anything above 300 wouldn't be good value for money.

When checking out, they even gave me a cute little souvenir.

My stay at the Homeinns Plus (Hongkou Chifeng Road) was great! The hotel is conveniently located right opposite Chifeng Road Station on Line 3, making it super easy to get around to all the attractions and shopping areas. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, offering a wide range of dining and shopping options. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Hot water supply was stable, and all the essential facilities were well-equipped. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in and check-out, and quick to respond to any requests. The hotel also has a self-service laundry room and a gym, which is very accommodating for travelers. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high for Shanghai. It's perfect whether you're traveling for leisure or on a short business trip. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai. Highly recommended!

Clean and hygienic, with enough space. The hotel's location is convenient, directly across from Chifeng Road subway station, very close to Hongkou Football Stadium, and easy to get to anywhere. There are plenty of dining options nearby.

Overall a pretty good stay. Location is great; just opposite the metro. However, the soundproof system in the hotel could be improved.

I guess because of a concert, there were so many people checking in that I had to wait a long time. When I got back to my room at 11 PM and went to take a shower, the drain in the shower couldn't handle the water, and it overflowed onto the floor. I had to stop showering halfway through to call the front desk. They sent an engineer, and I waited forever. By the time he arrived, the water had slowly drained away. I told him the water wasn't draining properly, and he just said, 'There's no water now, is there?' I pointed to the water on the floor outside the shower, and he insisted I hadn't closed the shower door properly, causing the water to splash out. I asked him to go in and run the water himself to test it. After a lot of reluctance, he finally went in and ran a little water, then said it was fine and there was no problem. I was speechless. Finally, I insisted he run it longer, and that's when he realized the water really wasn't draining. Only then did he call the front desk to arrange a room change. So, I was stuck there, halfway through my shower, hair still wet, freezing cold, just waiting. Your company's service attitude is truly something to behold. The hairdryer was also broken. The engineer initially told me that's just how it was, but after fiddling with it a few times and failing to fix it, he finally went to get me a new one. I've used Trip.com for so many years and never written a bad review – congratulations, you've earned my first one. I booked this hotel because it's a Home Inn, and honestly, it was truly unexpected. I can only say that the cleaning staff's attitude was good; as for everyone else, I've really seen it all.
