I booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough for two adults and one child traveling together. While some say the facilities are old, the bathroom has actually been renovated. The lighting is bright, and there's a vanity stool. The shower is a bit small but acceptable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food is quite good. It would be even better if they offered some local Shanghai specialties. The best part is definitely the location. Our room had a view of the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), and it was very convenient to get to the Pudong Art Museum and the East Building of the Shanghai Museum. Plus, there was plenty of parking. There are two areas for improvement: First, there's no phone holder in the bathroom. Second, the room service doesn't have delivery robots. There's a robot in the lobby, but it mostly just looks cute. I asked for slippers, and it took an hour to deliver them. We even offered to pick them up ourselves, but it insisted on delivering them. I mean, isn't the whole point of robots in hotels to free up human staff?

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Lou, was enthusiastic and attentive, patiently assisting me with any questions I had, and was always friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff was meticulous and thorough, paying close attention to details. I'd especially like to commend Managers Li and Lucy from the floor staff for their thoughtful and heartwarming service. I truly felt the hotel's dedication and professionalism, making my stay comfortable and worry-free. I will definitely choose this hotel every time I visit Pudong!

An older hotel with dated facilities, it definitely has that old-money vibe. It's now under Marriott, though I heard it's been downgraded. The location is super convenient with Century Avenue and the metro station nearby.

The accommodation was good, and the breakfast was excellent. We booked two rooms, and while the wait for the rooms to be ready for check-in was a bit long, they ended up upgrading one of them and placing both rooms on the same floor, which was a nice touch. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, though, and it's a bit of a walk from the subway station.

This established five-star hotel still has a great foundation. The higher floors are very quiet and offer expansive views. The location is excellent. Facilities: A bit dated, but well-maintained. Cleanliness: Very good. Service: They tried their best to meet guest needs.

The hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's well-equipped and the service is very warm and friendly. The only downside is that the toilet in the bathroom is quite old. The central air conditioning defaults to heating, and since there are no openable windows in the room, it gets very stuffy and hot. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options, leaning towards Western style, and my child really enjoyed it.

A historically rich luxury hotel with exquisite decor and thoughtful service. The chairs are from HM, the toilet from Dura, and even the light fixtures were imported from Hong Kong back in the day. Finally, a big thanks to the front desk attendant for the Oriental Suite upgrade! 🙏

Everything about the room was great. As an older five-star hotel, the materials used are excellent, and I especially loved the chair – it was so comfortable. It would be even better if the carpet could be removed!

The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the restaurant staff were highly professional. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which is great for families with kids. Plus, the location is really convenient.

I took my grandma to Shanghai, and to make it easier to look after her, I contacted the hotel app a day in advance to see if we could swap two rooms for a two-bedroom suite. Upon check-in, I was informed that we had been upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, though I wasn't sure if it was the Beijing Suite or the Shanghai Suite. We stayed for two nights. Our suite was on the 39th floor, and it was the only room on that entire floor, along with the Western restaurant. It included one king-size bedroom, one twin-bedded room, plus a massive living room and a kitchen. There were a total of three bathrooms. The king-size bedroom was quite spacious, a standard size for a king room, and also had a large walk-in closet. The twin-bedded room was a bit smaller than a typical twin room. The living room had a very high-end sound system. Every time we took the elevator up to our room, we'd pass by the entrance of the Western restaurant. The restaurant manager always greeted us very politely. He was also the one at the entrance when we went for breakfast downstairs. He must be a long-time St. Regis employee, and his English was excellent. The lounge was closed during the Chinese New Year period, and we were compensated with 1666 points. Taking elderly family members to stay in Shanghai at this hotel is truly perfect. The 'old money' style decor and rosewood furniture really suited my grandma's taste, and crucially, it was excellent value for money, so my grandma didn't feel like we were overspending. However, the concierge at the entrance was truly awful. I drove my car from the parking lot to the entrance to pick up my family. As soon as I parked, I was told I couldn't park there and to leave immediately. The strange thing was, there wasn't a single car at the entrance at that time. I told him my family was right inside the lobby and would be out momentarily, but he just kept rushing me. I don't know what the rush was about. I was only parked for 3 minutes, and I was rushed multiple times. It was a bit baffling. Aside from that, my family was very satisfied with all other aspects of this hotel. We visited the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Bund, and the City God Temple, and all were just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away.

The hotel room is quite spacious. As an older Marriott property, the room was clean, though the facilities are a bit dated, it didn't negatively impact my stay. The room was very quiet, and I slept comfortably at night. Plus, the room offered views of the 'Three Big Pieces' (Lujiazui skyline). To stay in a hotel like this in Pudong for this price offers excellent value for money!

While the hotel is a bit older, it generally met my expectations. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the service was quite responsive. I particularly enjoyed the pool and gym – they were excellent.

The facilities are indeed quite old, but the service quality and attentiveness are still excellent. Due to the Chinese New Year, the restaurant and some other facilities were closed, and with so many people, the cleanliness was a bit hard to keep up with.

Ferrari is still Ferrari, even when it's old! My stay at The Luxury Collection Hotel, Shanghai was far better than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the Herman Miller office chair in the room and the Byredo toiletries. The view from my room directly overlooked the 'Three-Piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers). The overall amenities definitely justify the price. I brought my parents to Shanghai, and they both had very high praise for the hotel. What was even more touching was a small incident after checking out. I rushed out and only realized I'd left my phone in the room later. I called the front desk, just hoping for the best, and the staff immediately coordinated with housekeeping to confirm and quickly returned it. They reassured me by saying, 'Don't worry, anything lost in the hotel is always found.' Big thumbs up to all the staff, thank you!
