Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund

I've always been a fan of Banyan Tree hotels, and the one on the Bund in Shanghai is no exception. Located right by the Huangpu River, I loved the view from the room window—a combination of lush green trees outside and the iconic Pudong skyline, including the Three Piece Suit and the Oriental Pearl Tower. Special praise goes to the staff for their warm, attentive service that never felt overbearing. Ambassador Deslin was exceptionally thoughtful and took great care of us. The front desk team was very prompt in their responses, and the housekeeping staff were all extremely polite and well-mannered. All in all, it was a thoroughly satisfying stay. The hospitality industry in China is fiercely competitive, and I truly hope their hard work is understood and appreciated by every guest.

The Banyan Tree is the top choice for a trip to Shanghai, offering a tranquil and elegant ambiance. Check-in was efficient, the room was well-maintained, and the views of the Huangpu River from the window were breathtaking. Sensha provided attentive service that reflected high quality in every detail, and Bella assisted with a fast and polite check-out.

Even as Shanghainese, we absolutely love the Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund! Its location directly faces the Lujiazui 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers) and the Huangpu River. Watching the boats by day and the lights by night is just stunning. The room itself was spacious at 60 square meters – a truly excellent experience. Even while showering, you can still see the Lujiazui skyline, which is incredibly relaxing. The view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from the head of our bed at night was especially beautiful. The hotel's 13th-floor terrace is magnificent, definitely a must-visit spot for photos. I particularly want to thank the gentleman who assisted us; your warm service, thoughtfulness, and care deeply touched us as seniors. Thank you! Overall, the hotel's comfort, service, and comprehensive facilities are truly exceptional. We definitely have every reason to return! 😊🌹👍

The lobby is spacious and bright, and the breakfast is delicious. Bella at the front desk provided attentive and thoughtful service. Jenny was quick to assist during check-out, and the concierge service was excellent. The room was clean, and we booked a river-view room overlooking the Oriental Pearl Tower, which my child loved. The location is convenient for getting around. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to The Bund and White Magnolia Plaza. The room had large floor-to-ceiling windows, was clean and spacious, and the facilities were well-maintained. The front desk staff and hotel butler provided meticulous and thoughtful service. The indoor circular pool was huge; soaking in the pool and admiring the bustling night view of Lujiazui outside the window completely washed away travel fatigue. The hotel has an observation deck on the top floor, and the complimentary travel photography was excellent. From the second-floor corridor of the hotel, you can walk along the river to The Bund, enjoying the gentle breeze and the vibrant cityscape of Shanghai. I was very satisfied with this trip!👍

The hotel's location is excellent, offering expansive views of the North Bund and the Lujiazui skyline. The overall ambiance is a serene Thai-style resort, providing a tranquil escape in a bustling city. The breakfast quality is consistently good, and most importantly, the service is exceptionally attentive.

The room, as always with Banyan Tree, featured an oversized circular bathtub and a large bay window sofa, offering unparalleled views of Lujiazui, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the 'Three-piece Suite' skyscrapers. Breakfast service until 11:30 AM was a big plus for late risers. The service was also very thoughtful. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Staying at the Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund with my kids was a truly heartwarming experience. The evening bath with the city lights turning on created an amazing atmosphere. I contacted Cynthia to help book afternoon tea, and the views were incredible. Bella quickly assisted with our check-out. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Shanghai.
