Wyndham Shanghai Hongqiao

We used this as our bridal suite, and it was so hectic on the day that we completely forgot about the minibar and the tea break vouchers. The environment was lovely, and the hotel lobby was great for photos. The room was spacious, and after decorating it, it looked fantastic in pictures. All our wedding photos were taken at the hotel – it was perfect as a bridal suite! The red bedding was also provided by the hotel.

The European-style lobby has a timeless design with an incredible ambiance. The breakfast is rich and delicious, offering a great variety of both Chinese and Western options. The service is attentive and thoughtful, with all requests properly taken care of. It made for a relaxing and comfortable stay, highly recommended.

Terrible service. During breakfast, for a party of one adult and two children, the kids were still at the table. The adult went to get some fruit, and when they came back, all the cutlery and chopsticks had been cleared away. What, are children not welcome here? When I asked what was going on, the waitress said they were changing plates. Do they really clear away chopsticks when changing plates? When I questioned it, she took the chopsticks back from the cleared plates. I'm speechless.

The kids' play area was just one slide????!! I was genuinely shocked!! The sky garden and pool were completely closed for the entire Golden Week holiday. I went into the afternoon tea and couldn't find anything edible, and the breakfast selection was small and not tasty. The auntie making the stir-fried noodles and omelets had absolutely no concept of first-come, first-served. This is the most disappointing Wyndham I've ever stayed at! Truly awful!

I booked a twin room package at the hotel through Ctrip, staying for four nights. It included a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea. The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was incredibly varied, offering everything from Western-style salmon sashimi to Shanghai pan-fried buns. The afternoon tea was also delightful. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Hongqiao Railway Station, where you can catch metro lines 2 and 17, which is very convenient. I had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham Hongqiao! Excellent value for money!

The room was excellent, clean, cozy, and very quiet! The service was great! I accidentally double-booked my room, and they even called me today to process an automatic refund. Huge thanks to the hotel for their support, I'll definitely be back!

The staff were really enthusiastic, and they upgraded our room for free upon check-in – big thumbs up! The facilities are excellent, and the service staff were all great; the service was spot on. The hotel also offers free parking, which is a basic but nice perk. The bedding was so comfortable that I overslept, haha! They even allowed for a late check-out. Plus, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from Hongqiao Railway Station.

Very close to the exhibition center, which is right behind it. It's a beautiful European-style building with a gym inside. The service is also good, and they offer shuttle services to the exhibition center. They also provide shuttle services to the train station and have afternoon tea.

Our stay was excellent, largely due to the warm and helpful service from the staff, especially Owan. They even offered a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in, and the spacious room made our stay very comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic, being very close to Hongqiao Railway Station, and the complimentary shuttle service to the station was a huge plus. The environment is also great, with a high-end lobby decor. We'd definitely consider staying here again if we have the chance.
