Ocean Hotel Shanghai

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Shanghai Hotel. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of four. The beds were huge and comfortable, and we liked having a bathtub and a small living area with a couch. The room had a cozy, rustic charm that made it feel welcoming. The breakfast was good with plenty of options to choose from. We also had dinner at the revolving restaurant on the 27th floor, which offered lovely city views. Be sure to make a reservation in advance if you plan to dine there. Note that the breakfast area is on the 1st floor and separate from the revolving restaurant. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. A few minor things could be improved. The shampoo and body wash provided were quite small and not enough for a family of four. Complimentary bottled water was limited, and extra bottles came at an additional cost. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with spacious rooms, good food, and helpful staff. We would happily stay here again.

In front of the hotel is the Raffles Mall and the Metro Station. A lot of food options inside the mall and surrounding areas. There are also bus stops nearby. we are also lucky that our room has a view and I was able to capture sunrise in the morning.

The family room was very spacious with a nice view. A bit old fashioned but OK. Breakfast is fantastic with Chinese and continental food. It's in a good position to visit downtown, about 10 minutes walk from the metro.
