A good hotel for business trips. A huge plus: free laundry and steamers. This was a real lifesaver on hot days. Clean, comfortable bed. Very good location, 3 minutes from the metro, close to the exhibition center. Disadvantages: bland, monotonous breakfasts, small lobby, very small gym (which is in high demand!), far from the main attractions.

Bringing my children to Shanghai, I spent quite some time picking a hotel, and Shangpin Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice. It's conveniently located not far from Hongqiao Airport and the subway station. There's also a food street right behind the hotel, making dining very convenient.
