That Shanghai skyline view alone is worth the stay. ✨ Modern, spotless rooms, amazing views day and night, lovely staff, and great service. Easily one of my favorite stays in Shanghai. Would 100% come back! I loved it and definitely recommend 💖😍

The front desk staff were very friendly especially Yulia and Lucy who offered me and my girlfriend an upgrade to our room and a free late checkout. They made sure we had everything we needed as well as a beautiful view of Shanghai tower and the oriental Pearl from our room.

We loved the place staff was very professional and the swimming pool have a beautiful view on Shanghai.

The hotel has a great location and despite our late arrival we were welcomed by two lovely ladies that did a very efficient check in and explained all the necessary details. Staff in the hotel is super friendly and wants to help you as much as they can. Breakfast buffet is great, especially the Chinese specialties.

The location is quite convenient, with a small mall downstairs for easy access to food and shopping. The front desk service was excellent, and the night view from the hotel room was lovely. However, I have to complain about the elevators. They go up and down very quickly, but you have to wait an incredibly long time for them. Sometimes the door doesn't open even after the light is pressed, so you have to press it again.

It was a very pleasant stay at Novotel Shanghai Atlantis! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views—waking up to the Shanghai skyline each morning was an absolute dream. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to top attractions, shopping, and dining. The breakfast buffet was a highlight every day—fresh, varied, and incredibly delicious, with both local and international options to suit every palate. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the service. The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Joanna, who arranged an amazing room for us—it was so spectacular that we extended our stay just to enjoy it longer! Her attention to detail and warmth made all the difference. Huge thanks to Ken for his gracious assistance during check-out—his professionalism and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression. And to Ma Junfeng, a wonderfully pleasant young man who helped us with our luggage with a smile—thank you for your kindness! We left with full hearts and are already planning our return. Great location, have a very nice view of the Shang Hai skyline. Check in process was very smooth and easy. We even reached earlier and room was already ready ahead of time! Pillows, one soft one hard. Wow. So you can pick to your preference. Front desk staff Kelly was very helpful and steadfast when we requested for a later check out. Really appreciated it! The only issue I had was the lifts there don’t seem to have a waiting time or sensor. It’ll just close on you. If not great convenient location. Just below is a mall, and there’re many eateries etc nearby.

I paid extra to upgrade to an executive room, which had a great view of the 'Three-piece Suite' (Lujiazui skyline) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The chair in the room could be pulled out to become a single bed. Breakfast was served at the revolving restaurant, offering a wide variety of food and excellent views. As it's a French hotel, most guests were foreigners, and among the Asian faces, many were Koreans. The breakfast is very family-friendly for those with children, as kids under 17 eat for free. The hotel is also not far from the subway station.

Second stay here, and Joanna at the front desk was great – really helpful with our check-out. My only minor gripes were that the twin room didn't have a great view, and compared to my last visit where parking was completely free when leaving, now the hotel covers 80 RMB, and you have to pay for anything over that, which is about 15 RMB per hour (billed as a full hour even if it's less).

Facilities: Great value for money, well-equipped. Cleanliness: Tidy and hygienic. Environment: Quiet with a good view. Service: Good attitude. Excellent location, with restaurants and a supermarket downstairs. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Huangpu River. There's a bank right outside, and it's very close to Metro Line 4.

The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. This is an outstanding hotel that perfectly blends high international standards with traditional Chinese hospitality. I highly recommend it! A special thanks to Anne, who, upon learning I had traveled a long distance and needed good rest, quickly helped me check in. My sincere gratitude to her; through her, you can truly see the hotel's excellent corporate culture and human touch.

The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are a bit dated, but it's very complete. The view is beautiful. If you're looking for a great view and good value for money, you can choose this place. However, the environment is indeed average, but the service is very enthusiastic.

The stay was very nice we got to meet Joanna who helped us a lot during check in, she even got us a better room very nice ! Thanks a lot for the staff who was very helpful and made this stay enjoyable.

Thanks to Kira for the room upgrade! The room was much bigger with an expansive view, making for a very comfortable stay. I came specifically for the pool and gym, both of which were quite good! Downstairs, there's an Aldi and quite a few restaurants I didn't get a chance to try. It's also close to my company, which is convenient for a working professional. The only minor drawbacks were that the TV in the room couldn't cast, and the shower was inside the bathtub. Also, I'm quite particular about pillows, and neither of the pillows at this hotel was very comfortable for me.
