It was an okay experience, nothing particularly good or bad to report. Given its location in Shanghai, the price was quite reasonable. My only complaints are that they provided too little complimentary water and the carpet in the room was quite old.

The location is great, not far from the Oriental Pearl Tower, and it's easy to get a taxi. The accommodation was very quiet at night, and for a few hundred yuan a night, it was a good deal. The room was quite spacious. Had an excellent experience at Shanghai Pudong Hotel! The location is super convenient, close to Nanpu Bridge and the Oriental Pearl Tower. This stay was fantastic! The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The bathroom was odor-free and well-stocked with toiletries. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room smelled, and the service attitude was terrible! I asked if an electronic ID, like a photo, would work. They insisted on seeing it from the 'Suishenban' app. It was past 10 PM when I arrived, and I just wanted to check in quickly. I told them I was only staying for an hour or two, just to make it simple, but they absolutely refused. I even opened the Suishenban app and handed my phone to her to navigate, but after fumbling around for ages, they finally said a photo of my ID would be fine. I swear, this person is impossible! Excellent hotel. Not far at all from Pudong central area and not far from Bund. Clean, rooms are spacious. Stuff if helpful. The only problem is that when you order something, can’t be delivered to the room. That is little annoying.
